Small, Hot, Oceanfront

This location is close to the main town and even closer to the airport while being immediate to the clear ocean water that laps on the backside of the property. It is a very small space with lightweight AC ONLY in each of the medium sized bedrooms. This leaves the living area very humid, at least during summer months. Opening the sliding door to the balcony only makes it worse as this unit is tucked behind all of the others it is adjoining, which means it has zero air flow. This heat and humidity is borderline unbearable causing constant sweat as there are no celling fans in the family room nor the balcony. Other adjoining units have both AC in the whole condo and fans on each balcony with access to some wind off the ocean. In addition there are no usable outlets in the bathroom which is terrible for any guest wanting to use a hair dryer, curling iron, or magnifying mirror for personal hygiene. In addition all outlets have one slot taken with European style outlet that is occupied by a lamp as there is limited overhead lighting as well. The two bathrooms are located as ensuites to each bedroom, no half bath in living area, and the areas are small with narrow showers, moderate water pressure and no hot water. Well, if you think to twist a timer on each boiler 90 minutes before you want to shower, you might be able to get sufficient hot water for two quick showers. The clothes washing machine is also the drier, therefore lengthening the time it takes to do laundry as there is only one machine. Also the stairs going up to the 2nd level are narrow, short in depth, sandy, and steep. Difficult to haul items in and out, especially large roll on luggage. The owner is friendly, the property manager is decent, not great. If you are seeking a raw, natural, casual, water activity focused trip and you do not mind sweating inside, this a useable and affordable option. ”
