Troon Monument Course at 9th Green
Troon North's two courses are well known to golfers to be among the highest rated in Arizona, USA and the world. Non-golfers will surely enjoy both the native landscape and the virtual botanical garden which surrounds the courses.
Our wonderful home overlooks the 9th hole green of the Monument course, and 'Pinnacle Peak'. The setting is quiet, impressive wild life abounds, but close to the sophisticated amenities of the Scottsdale area.
Master bedroom is oversized and gives plenty of space for the king size bed, plus a nice window-side chair and ottoman. The mattress is state of the art hypoallergenic, no coils...no motion transmission. One side is designed to be a bit firmer than the other. Large flatscreen TV. Large walk-in closet.
The master joins the bath with soaking tub and glass shower. Double basin sinks on travertine top. Commode room is separate.
The second bedroom is currently arranged with two extra long twins, but can be joined and bedded as a king. Fantastic premium mattresses. Flat screen TV and DVD player. Walk-in closet. Mountain view.
The 'library' can be called 'Bedroom 3'. It is used as an library/den/office. Nice desk sits in front of the large north facing window, overlooking mountain desert terrain. There is a daybed in this room.
The large living space has a conversation-style leather sofa, coffee table, sitting chair, window-side game table and chairs, gas fireplace, and of course, the 55 inch flat screen.
The living space glides to dining area. Table is for 10, but set now for 6. It looks to the patio.
It is easy to serve the guests from the granite bar of the kitchen. This kitchen is sufficiently equipped for farm style Thanksgiving. In addition, there is a corner sitting area for the cooking supervisor. But if you prefer not to cook, visit Dynamite Grille, a pleasant 5 minute walk.
Our patio faces south, and being on the second level, the landscaping of the golf course provides an atmosphere of seclusion, but the winter sun warms nicely this south-facing niche. Summer sun is directly overhead:our patio is shaded by mesquite and palo verde trees.
The property is high above the valley floor, at about 800 meters (2500 ft). In the summer it is 3 or 4 degrees C cooler than Phoenix. Air is always fresher than in the valley.
The community is gated, quiet, and very much under populated. The community pool is a couple of minutes walk.
Scottsdale wants for nothing: amazing dining, shopping and of course, over 300 days of sunshine. Yes...it is a dry heat, but even the hot days of summer are pleasant if one stays out of the direct sun of mid day. The cool dry, and often breezy, nights are refreshing.

Lovely home perfectly situated on the golf course. Dynamite Grill just a couple minute walk away is terrific as well. Hope to return?”
Great stay at Troon. Condo was clean, comfortable and in the middle of all the varied activities North Scottsdale has to offer. ”
Jan and Mark were gracious hosts and very helpful. The home right on the Troon course was centrally located to a substantial number of great courses. It was also quite beautifully and comfortably appointed and laid out. All in all a great trip, notwithstanding the challenges of Covid and near record heat.”
