Memorable visit!

Enjoyed the break at Northstar and found the resort & accommodations to be fully as advertised. The unit was very comfortable & well appointed and we took full advantage of the great wrap-around balcony. As expected the village was a bit slow and, though no surprise, we would have liked to have had all shops/rest's open and 7 days-per-week lift/bike trail availability. The smoke from further west made for some hazy days but we got very lucky w/ weather breaks and feel incredibly fortunate we were a week ahead of the evacuations and direct threats! Fully enjoyed the lake, hikes & bikes, boat daytrip and excursions to Truckee and around the lake. Would definitely return, but maybe next time for winter activities!”

Comfortable, relaxing stay in a lovely place

The villa is lovely! It was very clean, well-equipped, really spacious, and very comfortable. Everything you could want for a relaxing vacation. The location is great, you can hike or take a gondola up the mountain from there. It's also a short drive from lots of different things to do. It would have been nice if more of the on-site restaurants and stores were open, but I get it, it's summer so no skiers. ”

Incredible location, clean, quiet and comfortable

Incredible location, clean, quiet and comfortable with complete amenities. Master bedroom was lovely with large soaking tub and large shower. Wrap around balcony was perfect spot for evening snacks and drinks. Would love to return! Check in process very smooth and the host/owner was very responsive.”

Usually, a winter wonderland ski resort....this is a perfect place to come with your family for the summer months!!! Hiking, gondola rides, a quick drive to historic Truckee, and the incredibly beautiful Lake Tahoe. The villa, was nicely decorated, walking to many things to do, and quiet, relaxing and just the perfect place to just chill. And if you are a beginner, or an avid mountain biker...this is the PLACE! Great place with the kids!”

Great for Families and kids

The Unit at Catamount was great, spacious, clean and quiet. There is so much for all to do in the area, especially if you want to get out on the mountain for biking or hiking. Monique from Resort Equities was very nice and helpful, but the people at the front desk where you check in were a bit rude and lacking in customer service. Every time we called and asked questions they seemed put out and really were not too helpful. It would have been 5 stars otherwise. Cheers!”

best location, best service, great ski resort

We absolutely fell in love with Northstar ski resort. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location of the villa is great with very nice view of mountain lift and where the skiers arrive. The villa is very comfortable and equiped. The contact person Monique is very dedicated and was there for all our questions. And end but not least Northstar ski Resort was great. Would definitely love to return to this location. ”
