April 2026Idyllic Holiday!
1493 Is the most beautiful place to stay on St Barths. The main house is the hub with a great kitchen/living opening out to the dining terrace with panoramic sea views, and some external steps lead to the 3 separate lodges each with huge bathroom and verandah with their own kitchenettes. They overlook the beautiful pool and there is also a great sheltered dining area and bar at this level - perfect for lunches. The whole place is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. There is a grat bakery right next door together with a pizzeria, and we enjoyed zipping around the steep roads of St Barths to discover beaches, the town, some lovely restaurants an to watch the small planes landing. Isabelle was very helpful, even opening up her boutique on a Sunday as some of our party had lost their luggage! Overall a fantastic holiday and plenty of room for 10 of us without getting on top of each other. ”
