Villa El Mar @ Omni Resort

A hurricane came through the night I checked in . The manager was very helpful . He boarded up doors and windows for the storm . . All was well by morning .Location is central to anything you might need or want . Condo itself was clean and orderly . My singular complaint is that condo is adjacent to pools . Music is loud all day and most of the night .!”

Beautiful setting

We loved our Cancun experience - the villa was as described and very comfortable. The owner and concierge communicated well during the course of our stay with any questions and problems we encountered. The noise level from the pool area took a while for us to get used to, we did manage to find areas where it was quiet, although it was difficult to rest in the villa during the day due to the proximity to the pool. Overall we loved our stay and the ocean swims were magnificent. We saw some newly hatched turtled released into the ocean by the night of the moon and that was a great experience as well. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in the villa. ”

Cozumel Review

Villa was very nice located right by pools and beach. Was strange that you could not purchase any days of the all inclusive but we made it work. Had a little trouble with one of the AC units in the bedroom that was never totally fixed. We hired the chef for several meals and he was fantastic. He shopped, cooked and cleaned up. Just was a little confusing who should have paid for what and how much. ”

Good Stay Overall

The Villa El Mar at the Omni resort is very nice. The accommodations are excellent, views of the pools in the resort and the ocean are beautiful, daily cleaning service and concierge help are top notch. The Villa is very close to the main pool and is subject to blaring, non-stop, DJ loudspeaker noise from 10 to 5 daily. Ear plugs helped, but the experience was still very annoying.”

Beautiful Views

Lovely Property, great security. The view is overlooking the pool, and is beautiful at night also. The Villa is very private, with 3 levels of balconies for outdoor seating. The kitchen is very nice, but was missing glassware, we could only find one wineglass. It is in an all Inclusive resort, but you are not able to dine there, even if you pay. The bars wont take your money so you have to bring your own liquor in. The onsite gym is also not available to Villa Guests.. It wasn't a problem for us, as we did our own cooking & there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It just would have been nice to know all of this before we booked. ”

Truly the Best Villa in Cancun!

We had an outstanding time in this private villa which is nestled right in the middle of a first class resort. Guests have access to all the amenities of the resort which includes multiple pools, beautiful beach and restaurants. The most enjoyable feature was access to a private chef who cooked 3 meals a day for us. This is optional and the cost of chef and food are extra and reasonable and well worth it.)
