This was a super comfortable base to enjoy the area and as we were there in a heatwave it was fantastic to be a walk from the sea. We visited surrounding towns and cities, explored the countryside and ate delicious fish in pubs and restaurants. Just be aware that Camber Sands is a very particular sort of place, authentically British seaside and not the cote d'azur, despite the weather. Our host could not have been more helpful and we are very grateful. ”

August 2026A slice of paradise in Cambersands
Dear Helen, Our family had such a wonderful time staying at your beautiful house in Camber this summer. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. If we were back in Spain, we would simply say this house is very "cuqui" – which means utterly charming and lovely! With warmest thanks, The Ramos Family ”

July 2026A beautiful retreat for beach lovers
We loved the house, it is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, which makes it easy to come and go. The sea is calm and has tides that vary widely during the day. The beach also has a bar where one can get food, so everything was smooth and fun. We also loved going to the town of Rye every evening, and take walks on those lovely pebbled roads. Helen was always attentive and everything in the house was in perfect shape.”
