Fabulous Villa in a Perfect Location
Beautiful property. Well appointed. Very comfortable. We very much enjoyed Villa Oliveto's proximity to Florence. While located in the countryside, the short drive (or bus ride) into Florence was quick. We would return without question. Note: Tuscany is experiencing an unfortunate surge of mosquitos that has perpetuated over the past 10 years. Sitting outside during sunset would not be recommended without repellent. ”
I can’t say enough about this Villa . 6 of us gather for a girls vacation and this property was idyllic . The property is about 20 minutes outside of Florence , it is very well appointed with superb decor , fabulous grounds and views . We could not wait to get back in late afternoon to enjoy the beautiful Tuscan sunsets by the pool . We enjoyed watching the wild life and byrds every morning outside our windows before we got ready for the days adventure. We rented 2 cars and visited several of the surrounding cities all within an hour drive . Nancy the house manager was fantastic. She was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. She recommended some nice restaurants within 10 minutes from property , Lastly we hired driver to do a private winery tour . Great experience. We can’t wait to return to Tuscany again ! Thank you Quintess for sharing this home in paradise . ”
Fantastic in every way!
The Villa exceeded our expectations. The views, the accommodations, the pool, the spacious interior and exterior, full chef's kitchen and complete privacy provided a spectacular setting for 8 friends to enjoy the week and it is only a 15 minute drive to Florence. We were graciously greeted at the front gate, given a walk through and then the villa was ours!”
Incredible Tuscan Vacation!
What an amazing trip!! I can't say enough about the beautiful setting and wonderful service. This home is an easy drive from the center of Florence. We could see the Duomo from our bedroom window and the view of Tuscany is truly picturesque! Our walks on the property were tranquil and amazing. Nancy made the trip so easy... greeting us with the most beautiful spread of cheese, charcutrie and wine. She arranged for massages the evening of our arrival and most impressive were the dinners from an extensive menu that Novella cooked for us. Nancy also arranged for our private, guided tours in Florence and made suggestions for our other excursions. We are so thankful for her and her help! We only wished it had been Summer time so we could have taken advantage of the beautiful swimming pool and multiple outdoor dining and living areas. The steam room was amazing. 2 comfortable living rooms allowed spaces for both the kids and grown ups to hang out. The kitchen had everything that we could have asked for and the double washers and dryers were a bonus. This was an Italian success. Thank you to Quitess, Nancy and Third Home for amazing family memories.”
Villa Oliveto: Our experience was "a tapestry of classical beauty"... from magical Florence (a 20 minute drive from the home) to the beautiful landscapes of Tuscan cities, towns and villages..San Giminiano, Sienna, Lucca, Pisa... We thoroughly enjoyed this magnificently , well laid out home to its smallest detail. The interior is perfectly well laid out and could not have suited us better. Thank you Rita! We hope to return again!!! ”
We spent a week in Villa Oliveto - 4 couples - and have nothing but great things to say about it!! We rented a car and drove from Florence - an easy 20-30 minute drive. The villa is in a working olive grove, away from the hustle and bustle of the town of Bagno a Ripoli. There was nothing we lacked for in the way of amenities and comfort - from the well-appointed kitchen to the luxurious bedrooms, and the steam room to the huge fireplace in the living room - this place was perfect!! We were met by Nancy, who could not have been more helpful - from setting up welcome massages and a fabulous chef's dinner, to shipping our purchases home for us. We took advantage of Nancy's expertise and booked a wonderful tour of the Uffizi and Vasari Corridor. We did the Bike Tuscany wine tour, which was so much fun with Elizabeth and Paula. And we finished up our stay doing the Fiat500Touring trip - all worthwhile!! It was wonderful to return to the villa each day - so serene and relaxing, sipping wine in the backyard as the sun set....such a beautiful place! ”
