San Francisco, California

3 - 12 Keys 2 Bedrooms 6 Guests 2 baths

San Francisco, Marina Boulevard

This family home is located on Marina Boulevard, an unequaled location for those traveling to San Francisco. Our home is beautifully remodeled with a chef's kitchen, complete with counter seating so diners can keep the cook company. The formal dining table seats 10 comfortably and can extend to 12. Kitchen, dining, living area, and Master Suite all face stunning views of the Bay ranging from the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz Island.

The master queen suite faces the bay and Golden Gate Bridge for an extraordinary sunrise and sunset experience daily. The second bedroom can be set up as either a California King or two extra long twins (like the European style of beds). If additional sleeping areas are needed, the TV room has a queen size pull-out sofa.

The house is directly across the water and about 200 yards from the St. Francis and Golden Gate Yacht Clubs. Walking distance to almost any type of activity, walk or ride to the Golden Gate bridge or Pier 39 tourist area. Bathrooms are newly remodeled and the entire home has sky lights throughout for natural lighting well into the evening.

For children and adults, I have left the Wii game and have connections to Netflix and cable for instantaneous viewing of films. There is also a basketball and American football for sport across the street, on the beach, or green space. There are activities and resources for all ages; within a few blocks there are a number of casual to formal dining experiences and wine tasting. The neighborhood also supports 3 playgrounds for toddlers and younger children. We are a few 100 yards from the Exploratorium, and adjacent to The Presidio, a National Park.

Additional Amenities: The house has a pack and play for toddlers. We also have a southern Italian cook who can prep and cook meals for families or individuals. Both our local wine shops will deliver wine and consult for dinner parties etc.

Gorgeous home, perfect location

The house was spacious, lovely and well-equipped. We loved the stunning view of the water, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island, and the owner was incredibly helpful to questions. Overall, amazing stay, would do it again in a heartbeat.”

Great Location!

The Marina Blvd. home was lovely and in a great location. Only moved the car when we wanted to leave the city, otherwise, you can walk everywhere. Beautiful views of the Marina and Golden Gate Bridge. Elizabeth was very helpful in suggesting places to eat, etc. in the area.”

Divine Marina House

We loved our stay at Marina Boulevard. What a brilliant location - laying in bed and looking at the Golden gate bridge - what more could we have asked for. We walked everywhere and totally loved our stay. The house itself is just divine with beautiful furnishings we found it to be most comfortable. Thank you very much to Elizabeth for welcoming us into her home.”

Outstanding Bay Area location!

Elizabeth was a great hostess, very gracious in allowing our family the use of her beautiful home! Helpful with suggestions, communicating, and having things ready for our stay. Fantastic view out the front windows and door to the Bay, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge, we would definitely stay again! Cheers! Peterson family”

Location, location, location!

This is a beautiful two bedroom home overlooking the marina. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge is fabulous, with parking in the driveway. Easy access to the entire city and beyond. Elizabeth, the owner, was very attentive and accommodating. ”

Absolutely Wonderful Week

There is no location in San Francisco that I would prefer over this one. A charming and comfortable home with the most breathtaking views imaginable. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge, yacht club, bay, and early morning runners is spectacular and almost made me forget that the rest of the City waited to be explored. My favorite historic site, the Palace of Fine Arts, is just around the corner and a pleasant walking destination. And Chestnut Street makes it unnecessary to go farther than a few blocks for anything unless one just wants to! The most gracious home owner, Elizabeth, and her assistant, Diane, greeted us and made us feel so welcome. It has been such a pleasure to enjoy the unique artwork, collections and interesting furnishings in this home. A perfect week - I hope to do it again! Many thanks to all.”

San Francisco, Marina Blvd.

Location could not have been any better being next door to the "Palace Of Fine Arts" and half way between Pier 39 and the Golden Gate Bridge. Most things are within walking distance including a huge Safeway super market. House was beautifully decorated and loved the charm of the original hard wood floors and crown moldings. Elizabeth was very accomodating and helpful in planning our itinerary and dining choices. If this house is available and you want have a great experience in S.F. you need to stay here!!”

Beautiful Location with Gorgeous View

We enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth's beautiful Marina Boulevard home. We walked everywhere: up onto the Golden Gate Bridge, over to Chinatown, to Fisherman's Wharf to take the cable car... These were long walks, but they enabled us to explore many neighborhoods in San Francisco. We were able to park the car in the driveway and just used it to go for dinner at Cavallo Point (Sausalito) and up to Napa and Muir Woods. The house had everything we needed for our stay and has been beautifully renovated. The view was gorgeous (Golden Gate to the left, Alcatraz to the right!) One suggestion if you stay in this beautiful home: set a departure time and discuss the check-out process with Elizabeth (the cleaners showed up before 9 AM the day we were leaving, which we weren't expecting). We would definitely stay in this home again.”

Great Spot in SF's Marina District

Elizabeth's home met or exceeded all of my family's expectations. She has lovingly restored the 3 bedroom home, which is certainly in a prime location. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. The 3rd bedroom has the TV, but we used the pull-out bed, having little interest in sitting in front of the tube during our visit to this great city. The kitchen is high end (though we chose to dine out almost exclusively, great restaurants nearby, eg, A16). Our teenage kids were comfortable and happy to hang while my wife and I went out. The only negative I can think of is that we're now spoiled, and we'll have a hard time staying at a conventional hotel!”

Extraordinary view location across from the St. Francis Yacht Club and the sailing harbor and within sight of the GG bridge and Alcatraz. Nicely appointed home and amenities. Convenient walking to stores and restaurants as well as the Embarcadero, and easy trips to the northern wine country and Sausalito. Elizabeth, the owner, is great to know and very accomodative. We had a wonderful time.”
