An incredible family-friendly stay with ocean views, resort amenities, and amazing service

We had an incredible stay and would absolutely give this home 10 stars if we could. The house itself was beautiful, cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids. There was more than enough space, privacy, and comfort for everyone, with spacious rooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities throughout. The outdoor shower was such a nice bonus, and the private pool overlooking the ocean was one of our favorite parts of the entire trip. The only small constructive note is that the beds could have been a little softer, but that was very minor compared to how wonderful everything else was. The location is truly unbelievable. From the pool, we could occasionally hear and see a family of howler monkeys in the trees, and the ocean sunrises and sunsets were incredible. Beach access was easy, just about a 5-minute walk down the hill to the resort restaurant, pools, and beach area. Having access to all of that for the week was such a luxury. The walk back up the hill is steep, so guests with mobility concerns may want to rent a car or drive down, but we did not mind the walk at all. The resort amenities were also excellent. The restaurant food was delicious, especially the sushi, and the staff was so kind. There were two separate resort pool areas in addition to our own private pool, including a shallow pool that was great for kids and another deeper pool. The beach was beautiful, and you can snorkel there too. The service and support before and during our stay were perfect. Jacky and Cesar were unbelievably helpful and kind, and they made us feel right at home. They helped us book tours, arrange transportation, order cabs, and answer any questions we had. We never once felt like we did not have instant help or support when we needed it. We also loved the nearby activities. The La Leona Waterfall hike was amazing. It is a family-owned and run compound, and we had the best tour guide and a delicious homemade lunch included in the tour. We also went zip lining at Congo Trail, which was so much fun and very family friendly. It included 10 cables, and both our 3-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son were able to participate with us. The guides were professional and fun, and we even got to feed monkeys while we were there. This home is perfect for just about anyone: families, couples, groups, adventure travelers, or anyone looking for a relaxing beach stay. Families with kids will especially appreciate the convenience of the pools, beach, restaurant, and the safety of the resort community, but we also met wonderful older travelers celebrating a 75th birthday, so it truly works for all ages. I basically lived in Teva sandals, bathing suits, and sundresses, so I would not overpack. Transportation was easy to arrange ahead of time, and everything felt simple and relaxed once we arrived. We would 100% go back again. Pura Vida!”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The home was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable, and the private pool with sunset views was incredible. We especially loved how peaceful and relaxing the community felt while still being close to everything. Having the guarded gate and on-site restaurant was such a huge bonus and made the stay feel very safe, convenient, and luxurious. The location was perfect for exploring the area while still feeling tucked away and quiet. The owner was also exceptionally kind, responsive, and helpful sharing great tips and suggestions, which made everything seamless and stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Costa Rica.”
