Responsive Host, but the apartment lacked comfort

The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and we really appreciated how quickly he communicated whenever we had an issue. Unfortunately, the apartment itself was not as comfortable as we had hoped. On our first night, we had a plumbing leak in the primary bathroom. The owner responded promptly and had someone come to address it the following day, which we appreciate, although the sink continued to leak during our stay. The biggest issue for us was the lack of comfortable seating, and that the outdoor space was nothing like the photos. There was no attempt to clean the outdoor space and put the cushion out to be able to enjoy the outdoor space and the weather was beautiful the entire time we were in London. That was very disappointing. There really isn't a comfortable sofa or chair where you can relax together at the end of the a long day exploring London. The owner was very kind and responsive and I believe new to Thirdhome. I would recommend putting more comfortable seating in your home and cleaning up the outdoor space if folks stay during nice weather months as we did. However, based on the overall comfort of the apartment, we personally would not choose to stay here again. ”

A gorgeous flat perfectly located and very peaceful

An excellent stay in a great location

London is many things -- bustling, big, crowded. Marylebone Mews is the antidote to all that. The flat is very comfortable and attractive, and extremely quiet -- when you're inside, it's hard to believe that the big city exists out there. The neighborhood is charming, with many fun restaurants within a pleasant ten minute walk, and several Underground stations exist nearby, to get you anywhere you want to go. Linens and bedding were very comfortable and owner Duncan even went out of his way to supply a microfiber comforter and pillows for me, because I'm allergic to feathers. Duncan was very responsive, and happy when I sent him a list of necessary fixes, such as lightbulbs out, the need for a second set of keys, etc. The benefits of staying at the Mews Retreat are many, and I recommend it heartily”

Lovely central flat and location

Duncan was a great host The flat was spotless and we had a great stay there. The best location with parking outside. . We felt safe and enjoyed visiting sites in London, eating out and going to the theatre and shows but being back home easily. We live in the Home Counties in the UK so we have definitely decided to use some keys each year and stay in London. ”
