My husband, son and I stayed at Eagle Pass and enjoyed every moment. When you arrive you see mountains forever all around the home. The space outside was just as beautiful as the home inside. Scott and Liza took care of the yard everyday and assisted us if we had any request. The golf course is very interesting as it is very hilly. The food service at the club was outstanding. This is truly a place to see the face of God. The Lynn's from Nashville”
Excellent Stay at Eagle Pass
We really enjoyed our recent stay at Eagle Pass. The property is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Scott, the general manager, went above and beyond to make sure the stay was perfect. The house's location is very private and sits right on top of a mountain with 360-degree views and an amazing outdoor area. We hope to return in the near future.”
Eagle Pass, Waynesville, North Carolina
I found this property in Waynesville, North Carolina; but, Heaven is a more accurate description of where this residence is located. As we first entered the property, I recalled what drew me into the mountains as a child and later as a freshman in college. The mountains have a reserve of eternal magic for those who have grown bereft as a day in and day out flatlander. There is wonder of the smell of the Good Earth; the promise that foliage shall abandon green to become the Autumn Pallet of the Lord. As a country lawyer for the last thirty five years, my wife and I have been blessed to find ourselves in wondrous destinations all over the world with our dearest friends. This was true at Eagle Pass. There were two other couples we've known for decades who joined us in the glory of the Fall. What better is there than a roaring fire, beside a waterfall, on a crisp evening and a soothing libation just before bed; only to awaken into the new day of sunshine and gentle breezes. Nothing is better! Our hosts made sure we enjoyed our stay with a call occasionally. Folk in my line of work enjoy conversation and though we did not meet; I developed a friendship with Suzy Harmon in our conversations. This was exactly what we wanted and we cannot endorse a stay as Eagle Pass without thanking the Harmons. ”
