Reached by a winding private lane, the property feels wonderfully removed while remaining just minutes from Milford and several beloved local food destinations.

Simple, bespoke details give the cabin a warm country character. The kitchen features stainless steel and cherry countertops alongside Miele appliances, while skylights bring natural light into each bedroom. One of the property’s most inviting spaces is the large screened dining and living room, where a 10-foot dining table seats eight and offers a comfortable setting for long summer dinners overlooking the surrounding greenery.

Outside, the 12-acre landscape provides plenty of space to slow down and enjoy nature. Wildflower, butterfly, herb, and lavender gardens surround the property, complemented by hammocks, garden seating, a tree swing, and a simple outdoor shower. A private fire pit creates a quiet gathering place beneath the stars, while the property’s seasonal 60-foot waterfall adds a distinctive natural feature during wetter times of year.

Along the Black River, a simple low-impact dock provides a peaceful spot for birdwatching or launching onto the water. Canoes and kayaks with life jackets and paddles are available to rent, making it easy to explore the protected wetland at a leisurely pace.
