The family have just returned from a great week in Cornwall. The weather was good which meant we were able to get out and about at lots of the local attractions and a few local beachs. Topsides was a fantastic home to be based at. So thanks to Kate for the chance to stay there. Thanks to Sue who manages the home it was clean and tidy and everything we could of needed was there. The location was very central to Fowey with lots of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance , most of which are very good. There were lots of boat trips you could book from the harbour , which I can recommend . So in truth we stayed at a great home , in a great location in a great part of Britain , happy days. ”

Topsides, Fowey, United Kingdom

We loved Topsides! The 3 of us had such a fantastic holiday at Topsides! We thoroughly enjoyed the outstanding scenic views of the beautiful river Fowey and the estuary! The house was well appointed and immaculate, and had all the amenities and supplies that we needed. The bedrooms were spacious, all with great water views. The outside gardens and patio areas were beautifully maintained with very comfortable seating areas all around. Everything about this place was perfect! It is also within a very short walking distance to restaurants and the charming and picturesque town of Fowey. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and cocktails with breathtaking views at the Fowey Hotel which is just a few minutes walk away down the Esplanade. There was just so much to do in and around Fowey! We especially enjoyed the Fowey harbor cruise, our short hike down the road to Readymoney Cove and St. Catherine's Castle, and our visit to The Lost Gardens of Heligan - a magical garden experience that is only a short drive away. A BIG "thank you" to Kate, the owner, who made us feel so welcome and for giving us an amazing Cornish experience! Gail, Kate and Paul”
