The staff members were absolutely "over the top" in making your stay enjoyable/responding to every need/assisting with transportation/dining reservations/tour recommendations and associated reservations. We loved our Spring Break week here. The home has everything you need to feel comfortable. The rooms & closets are generous sized so you can really spread out. The location is fantastic as were the views. We fully enjoyed the beachfront amenities. And the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to return. ”

Wonderful, as always - perfect weather to enjoy Home 19, right on the beach and dead quiet at the end of October! The staff is always super helpful and friendly They gave us some great hikes with stellar views. A bit disappointed that they had already taken away the kayaks for the winter, as the lake was like glass all week, but understand that it was a safety decision. A nice, relaxing week on the lake!”

The condo was very nice, spacious and had all the amenities we were hoping for. We had a great view of Lake Tahoe. The members' lounge was nice, and we also enjoyed the game room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Multiple ski resorts were an easy drive away. We would stay here again.”

Great location for a Company Retreat

We were looking for a good location to take our Management Team for our annual Strategic Retreat and two units in Tonopalo were available Keyless for the same week. Since we had six bedrooms for the six team members, each person was allowed to bring their spouse. Everyone loved the town and the resort. One unit had an amazing lake view but the other unit's view was limited. The staff was both friendly and helpful. We were hit by a big storm so all wheel drive cars were definitely needed.”

Tonopolo - Lake Tahoe

A fabulous week on Lake Tahoe! Our unit was just steps from both the pool/hot tub and the beach. We took full advantage of the facilities, including the small gym, beach towels and robes, kayaks and paddle boards. The staff is fabulous, and will bring you anything your accommodation may be lacking. Our unit was spacious, and had a partial view of the lake. The owner was very friendly, and was willing to answer any questions I had beforehand, as was the staff. The one complaint I have is that 3rd Home has the same generic write up for all the same-size units, so you really don't know what you're getting until you've already committed to your week and paid. Once you communicate with the owner you actually find out which unit you will be staying in. Our unit did not match the description on the 3rd Home listing. This seems to be a big problem that the Tonopolo management has to continually deal with, and 3rd Home should fix it. Otherwise, it's false advertising, and you may get a unit that has no view at all, though it's the same price as those that do have a view.”
