Lake Blue Ridge make it one of Georgia's most picturesque mountain lakes. The 3,290-acre lake has 80 percent of the shoreline on Lake Blue Ridge is in the Chattahoochee National Forest, managed by the USDA Forest Service. The canoe and kayak launch site below the dam gives non-motorized boaters access to the Toccoa River. The river is noted among anglers for its sunfish, trout, and bass. When water is released from Blue Ridge Dam to generate electricity, the river becomes a Class I-II float through the Georgia hills. Besides providing power and recreational opportunities, Blue Ridge also helps reduce flood damage. The lake is home to bass, bream, catfish, perch, and crappie, which make the area popular with anglers. It is the only lake south of the Great Lakes where Walleye are caught and is also known for small-mouth bass fishing.

Make A Splash
Beautiful lakefront home. Solid wood construction. Great 2-story dock. Great fishing. Nice restaurants. Recommend that owner obtain a property manager to deal with renters (exchangers). They are very nervous about renting their property and would do better with a professional.”
Great location. Short drive to town and groceries. Very comfortable and cozy. Nice back porch, yard fire pit and dock. Everything you want on the lake. Beds very comfortable too.”
all was great at this house but owner should empty out some space for guests please ”
Fun place for a family vacation
Make a Splash - Lakefront Cabin was a wonderful location for our family of 4 summer vacation. We had lots of time in the water while also enjoying the beautiful landscape surrounding us including mountain hikes, waterfalls, family owned orchards, and mini golf (one of my kiddos favorite activities.) The cabin is peaceful and the lake is almost always calm. A very enjoyable stay for sure. ”
Amazing property, wonderful owners
Our group had a great time at this outstanding property. Owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommended!”
Pretty Lake Front Home
Great for all seasons. The house had both indoor and outdoor fireplaces and was conveniently located five minutes from Blue Ridge. ”
We had a group of 7 and every person loved this home! The house is comfortable with nice views and was in a great location to explore the area. There is a large table on the back deck that we ate all of our meals at. The dock is nice with chairs on top and is an especially great spot to gather at sunset. We used the canoe that was provided to get out on the water in the mornings. The fire pit area was large and perfect for our fall trip! We relaxed there after days of hiking in the National Forest that is nearby. The home is on a dead end street and in a quiet area but was just a few minutes from the main road that had dining options and multiple grocery stores. The owner was very communicative and answered any questions/offered suggestions of local activities. During the fall, visiting Mercier Orchards is a must! Great u-pick options as well as an entire store full of cider, treats, and speciality grocery items. Huck's General Store in downtown Blue Ridge is also a fun stop. We would definitely visit again! ”
