Spectacular Beach Dream Bahamas Villa - Beachfront!
Guana Cay, Bahamas
Beach Dream Bahamas Villa
Beach Dream is a luxurious beachfront house finished in January 2009 with all new tropical furnishings, so everything is in great shape. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms with a fully-furnished gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances and filtered water throughout the house.
The house offers an open floor plan including an island with bar stools and a dining room table that seats 8, making Beach Dream perfect for family dinners and entertaining. There is a wall of windows in the great room and dining room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gorgeous pink/white sand beach that stretches for miles. The beach house is elevated and offers panoramic views from the large front deck of the wrap around porch.
All of the bedrooms have been furnished with high thread-count sheets and quality bedding. The master bedroom has a king bed with French doors that open onto the front deck and gorgeous colors of the ocean. The master bath has double sinks with a shower tiled to the ceiling. The second master also has a king bed with its own entrance into the bathroom that can also be accessed from the hallway. It has a tub/shower that is also tiled to the ceiling.
The half bath is adjacent to the third and fourth bedrooms. The third bedroom has a queen bed and the fourth bedroom has 2 bunk beds and a twin bed.
If you like the best, Beach Dream is for you, it's extraordinary! Every detail has been beautifully executed, from the porcelain tile floors to 10' ceilings in the bedrooms and the vaulted cypress tongue and groove ceilings in the great room.
About Great Guana Cay:
Great Guana Cay is a barrier island in the Abaco chain of islands in the Bahamas. The third largest barrier reef sits just off shore, offering unlimited snorkeling and SCUBA diving opportunities. A gorgeous reef is right in front of the house that is perfect for snorkeling and is only a short swim away with an easy beach entry.
The island has about 150 residents but there are quite a few second homeowners and visitors. Guana Cay is a beautiful tropical island with gorgeous beaches that are never crowded and the color of the water is unbelievable! It is secluded yet has all the necessities.
Pack your snorkel and dive gear…a spectacular reef is right off the beach in front of the house. Dive Guana offers full service PADI scuba diving and snorkeling trips. Dive Guana also has any gear you need...the water is very clear and the diving is gorgeous. If you would like to rent a boat during your vacation, we highly recommend the boats at Dive Guana. It’s conveniently located two blocks away in the harbor on Guana Cay and they rent nice 20ft. to 26ft. boats for fishing, diving or exploring and are reasonably priced. If you rent from Dive Guana, it’s simple to leave the boat at their dock. Otherwise, you can dock for free at the Government dock.
Edmond Pinder also offers nearby lobster spearing and snorkeling for conch with a shore lunch, as well as island hopping excursions, visit the swimming pigs, fishing, and private guide services in your boat or a rental boat.
World-famous Nipper’s Beach Bar and Grill is family-friendly with a swimming pool and consistently excellent food. It’s always fun and people come from all of the neighboring islands to visit, especially on Sunday afternoon for the weekly Pig Roast Party. Friday nights are also popular for Chicken-In-Da-Bag or Conch. Don’t forget Grabber’s for dinner and to watch the spectacular sunsets....and join visitors and second-homeowners on Wednesday night for Pot Luck. Kidd's Cove Seafood & Bar is cooking up daily specials and sushi. Another option is Orchid Bay Yacht Club & Marina which has a nice restaurant Sunsetter that features Rib Night on Saturdays and Wing Night on Thursdays, as well as a full-service marina. Beach Dream is within walking distance to everything, but it’s fun to rent a golf cart for a day or two to explore the entire seven mile island. With a golf cart or boat, one can sometimes (access is mostly restricted) visit the restaurant or Conch Shack at the gated, ultra-exclusive Bakers Bay Golf & Ocean Club on the north end of the island and check out the rich and famous and their yachts.
If you can avoid working while on Guana, please do…..but if you have to access your computer, we have internet WiFi service throughout Beach Dream, and a MagicJack for free calls to/from the United States and Canada.

A Quiet Get Away
If you're looking for a place to get away from it all and unwind this is the place! This is a very quiet island! You have to take a ferry to get there, take your groceries on the ferry that you get on the main island, and then take golf carts to get to the house. The trek is not for the faint of heart! The host is very helpful and friendly with getting you settled in. The house is nice, the location is beautiful - right on the water. The path down to the beach is a little steep. There are bugs so keep the doors shut! There is very limited food on the island. The bar next door has TONS of mosquitoes! Also, the music is loud some nights. The only area of the island you can explore is a couple mile radius. Most of this island is exclusive and you can't access the majority of the island. This is a little frustrating if you are wanting to explore because the areas you can access are extremely limited. Again, if you want to unwind then this is great, but if you're looking for activity, dining, or excursions this isn't the place for you. ”
