November 2017Good place for groups - Real Italian Rustic Experience
The property was located in the heart of Tuscany. It is also designed to handle a large group of people. It is especially good if the groups are families as the house has sections called suites that will have two - three bedroom and one or two bathrooms that can be closed off for privacy. There are also two kitchen. The house host Sonja is very helpful and will work with you on planning you trip and also offer to prepare and provide meals for the group. There was also plenty of firewood for the big fireplace in the main living room, which was on every hour we were awake in the home. We stayed here over Thanksgiving so the weather was too cold to enjoy swimming, using the hot tub or tennis. It was also hunting season so going for a hike around the beautiful property was risky. There are a few things to be aware of if you are considering going, this house is in the middle of Tuscany, which means depending on when you go it could be more Rustic than expected. Such as weak or no-existent internet. Also, if you go during the colder months be prepared with slippers and a robe as the heat in some of the rooms can't keep up. There is a lot of wonder wildlife and nature on this property such as a olive grove, that produced some of the best olive oil I've ever had. There also chickens and duck roaming the property. It was very country and filled with beautiful scenery. ”

Our stay at Villa Scopetello to celebrate our 50th Anniversary was absolutely wonderful. Sonja & Michel were perfect host and attentive to every detail. Sonja's cooking was way above our expectations. We highly recommend this facility. All beds are not King Beds as described in the 3rd Home web sight and should be corrected. ”
