Wonderful owners in the Wood River Valley

Nice, ranch style lodgings about a half hour from the ski lifts, (south of Sun Valley). We enjoyed playing pool, exploring the area and found the home to be very comfortable and certainly more that big enough to accommodate our group of four. The owners were very easy to deal with and were more than helpful in suggesting local attractions, restaurants and features of the property. ”

Perfect Sun Valley Family Retreat

Really enjoyed our time at Big Buster Ranch. Easy access to all the local sites, and plenty of room for the family. Ross, the caretaker, was very responsive, but never in the way. Thank you for the memories. Damian and Daniela”

Superb Sun Valley Home!

Beautiful stay in a quiet, tranquil, Sun Valley experience home. We were 5 adults who had our privacy when we wanted it, but were able to gather together to watch a movie, cook dinner and dine with a charming mountain meadow view of the grounds including grazing horses in the field. We ventured into the surrounding areas, and availed ourselves of the iconic Sun Valley Lodge, fabulous pontoon boat rental on the RedFish Lake, and quaint shopping and fabulous dining in the surrounding community of Ketchum. This home exemplifies the 3rd home definition of comfortable beds, furniture, and wonderful decor. This was a complete holiday in this estate; all of us were sad to leave at the end of our stay, and hope to return one day. The on-site caretaker could not have been more gracious and welcoming which greatly enhanced our experience. ”

Comforts of home at Big Buster Ranch!

What a comfortable and beautiful home! The porch was so inviting with so many spectacular flower arrangements, privacy and impressive scenery -- and even two Great Horned Owls in the Aspen trees! Loved the East Fork location -- I took a fabulous bike ride to the end of the paved road one day, hiked in the Sawtooth National Forest, and enjoyed the amenities of Ketchum. All logistics went smoothly -- great property and wonderful hosts -- hope to return soon!”

Great Week of Family Fun in Sun Valley!

Our family had the opportunity to stay at Big Buster Ranch over the Labor Day weekend of 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed the home and property. The setting is beautiful and the house well furnished and stocked. We most enjoyed relaxing on the many decks and in the evenings around the fire pit. Sun Valley is a wonderful destination that we have visited often, I highly recommend a trip anytime of the year to this area and Big Buster Ranch. ”

Loved it!

I hate snow, ice, and anything related to winter, so I did not go. This was a gift for my college aged godson and his friends - and his parents - who do love that stuff. They arrived late because of high winds at the local airport and had to divert to Boise. So it was late when I got their first report on Big Buster: "House is beautiful. Very homey and comfortable. Beautiful lot." They liked the house and had a great time! Said it was well-furnished with all the things they needed. (She loves to cook and needs all kinds of kitchen "tools".) It was close to town if they needed things there, and the college kids hit the slopes for hours almost every day. (For ski bums, the lower slopes were a bit weak and slushy the first week of March, but the higher elevation runs had a lot of really good snow!) The only negative (if you could call it that) was cellular service is not good at the house, nor in most places in the area; but that's AT&T's or Verizon's, or T-Mobile's problem. That bothered no one because Big Buster had terrific wireless internet in every room, and that was all they needed! Go. You will enjoy the area and the home!”
