Disappear into the Berkshires and live a truly regal lifestyle during your week at this Irish Country Estate. This five-bedroom, five-bathroom, 7,400 square foot estate sits upon twenty-one acres of manicured gardens and sprawling forest. Directly across the street is Onota Lake, with public access less than two miles away.
Stepping through the front door, guests are taken back to an era where no detail was spared. Ornate wallpapers and rugs, private studies and parlors, and plenty of socialization ring throughout the halls. A baby grand piano serves as the beautiful foyer's focal point. The formal living room has a wood-burning fireplace and a 65" smart TV equipped with Direct TV, Apple TV, and Blu-ray player. The cozy library, with elegant cabinetry, is stocked with an extensive collection of books, some over 100 years old, and houses an additional fireplace. Snuggle up on the extra-long leather couch and lose yourself in one of the old classics. If work beckons, you will find a comfortable desk with power outlets.
The former kitchen was completely redesigned into a modern-day gourmet kitchen featuring granite countertops and cherrywood cabinets. The inspired chef will appreciate a fully-stocked cooking area complete with a full spice drawer, pots and pans, utensils, and more! For the inner barista, behold the build-in coffee bar, which includes a Keurig coffee machine and a European Nespresso machine for the ultimate java brewing experience. A 12-cup drip coffee maker and a Margarita machine are available upon request. But that's not all! With a well-appointed top-of-the-line 48" Subzero refrigerator/freezer, separate wine & beverage cooler, and six-burner Wolf range-top with griddle and dual ovens, it's easy to understand why guests rave about this space.
There is plenty of seating for eight in the formal dining room, which boasts a 1930's Spanish origin table—making guests feel as if they are hosting a mid-century dinner party. However, the home truly earns its bragging rights from the new four-season room allowing for breathtaking 3-sided floor-to-ceiling views of the beautiful Berkshires. Curl up on a comfy chair to read a good book, enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon tea, or evening cocktail. Featuring a Bose in-door/outdoor sound system, gas fireplace, and a 45" smart-TV, the four-season room is the perfect place to sip your chardonnay during an occasional summer rainstorm.
When it comes time to retreat away from the group and get some rest, guests will find complete privacy in the home's five bedrooms—four with queen beds, one with a twin, and all with luxuriously soft bedding proven to help you sleep. With three full bathrooms and two half-baths, guests will surely have enough space for unpacking their things and getting ready for the day.
The game room, located in the basement, provides added space to unwind. Guests will have a blast listening to the jukebox while playing pool, ping pong, air hockey, pinball, foosball, skeeball, and an array of classic arcade games. Adjacent to the game room is a home theatre featuring an 85" TV, bar, and refrigerator. Guests can even exercise on the treadmill or recumbent bike while watching a movie or favorite program. Just a few short steps away, relax, unwind, and find peace of mind in the custom-built, four-person sauna.
Outside, revel in even more luxuries on one of three various decks. The "summer dining deck" hosts a seven-person hot tub, BBQ island, and an outdoor dining table with a centerfire feature. The 20' x 55' upper deck includes a relaxing hammock swing chair with sun canopy and a fire table. Last but most certainly not least, the lower patio contains a Cowboy Cauldron fire pit kettle surrounded by Adirondack chairs and a large two-person swing chair, also with a sun canopy.
Along with elegant beauty, this home is full of history. Throughout the years, it has trickled through the possession of various corporate executives. With rich history comes rich luxury, and guests will find both here!

Best host ever!
Joe, the host, went above and beyond in his efforts to make our stay in his home and the area enjoyable. Both the home and the host are very gracious, and the location makes a great base for exploring the area.”
Home, Homey, Welcoming, comfortable.
Home, Homey, Welcoming, comfortable. Is my summary of our stay at Fox Hallow. You know at the end of a vacation you look at your travel partner and say I had fun but am ready to be home now. My bet is you won’t have that feeling when you stay at this beautiful home. It is so comfortable, and you feel like you are at your own home. White tail deer in the dramatic backyard every day. The Home Owner, Joe is such a class act, Joe was so helpful and spent so much time sharing things to do in the area it was almost like he was excited to be on the trip with us. The guest arrival package that he emails you prior to your arrival includes everything you will need including a detailed make of his family’s favorite things to do within two hours of the house. I haven’t spent any time mentioning the house, no need, it is exactly as you see in the photos on line, amazing. One of our best trips ever. Thanks for everything Joe Curt (Colorado)”
Wonderful Visit to the Berkshires
My family and I had a great time in the Bershires. The house and grounds were both spectacular -- and the owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We are already planning our return!”
The location of Fox Hollow in the Berkshire’s is perfect! The countryside is gorgeous with so many places to visit and things to do. Great places to eat, no traffic to navigate and fresh country air. And this was a late October visit when tourist things are slowing down! The home Fox Hollow is amazingly comfortable. Joe is a phone away to handle any question that may pop up. From beds to a gourmet kitchen and the grounds and location, you can’t miss having a great time. ”
Outstanding stay in a high class, beautiful, comfortable, New England experience home. We are two couples who had our privacy when we wanted it, but were able to get together and watch a move, cook dinner and dine with a charming country view of the grounds in a formal well appointed dining room. We ventured out into the Berkshires, and availed ourselves of the Norman Rockwell Museum, fabulous music events at Tanglewood, and quaint shopping in the surrounding communities. This home defined the 3rd home definition of 5 star hotel cleanliness, 5 star linens, comfortable beds, furniture, and attention to detail. This was a complete holiday in this estate, both couples were sad to leave at the end of our stay, and hope to return one day. The host could not have been more gracious and welcoming which greatly enhanced our experience. ”
