The home is in a gated community with tennis court, pickleball, large community pool with beach which we had to ourselves most of the time. The house is one of the first completed in the community. The staff is ready to drive you from the house to these amenities during the day or you can drive yourselves in the atv. We were fortunate enough to see a few whales during our stay.\\nWe did not rent a car, travelled by taxi from the airport to the house an easy 30minute drive. \\nThe large La Ropa beach is worth the short taxi ride 10-15mins. \\nYou must hire the chef and bartender Issac for the home otherwise you are not fully taking advantage of the fabulous experience. The food was truly amazing and they were able to accommodate a menu for my husbands celiac disease - gluten free quite easily. We ventured to the restaurant in the community one night and although the view was pretty the food at the house was far superior and better value. The cleaning staff is there daily. The concierge is available anytime via WhatsApp. Luis the owner was also very communicative and accommodating. We hired in an additional chef team since we planned to enjoy all of our meals on property for the week and together, the five of them made every meal for the eleven of us restaurant quality in both preparation and presentation. \\n\\nThe home is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Plenty of thoughtfulness went into the design as well as the comforts. This is truly a place for relaxation as it is located on a fairly remote stretch of beach with only a few other homes along its long stretch of beach. Daily beach walks were in order! We were fortunate enough to be there for sea turtle season so we were able to see sea turtles actually hatching and making their way into the ocean. Joel also made arrangements for us to meet with the local volunteer caretakers of the hatchlings who arranged a release of several dozen for our group one evening at sunset. We happily made a donation for their hard work and dedication to these precious creatures. \\n\\nThe home is stocked with most of what you could want or need and the staff is kind, friendly and eager to please. We truly enjoyed our stay and several in the group mentioned how well they slept on the comfortable beds listening to the sound of the waves lapping the beach just outside. We also took up the recommendation for Massages at the house. Jonathan made a call and within hours had 4 masseuses at the house ready to give 8 massages. It was a great way to spend an hour! Owner, Ignacio, was extremely helpful to us in finding things to do and learning all the development had to offer. Downtown Ixtapa was 10 minutes away with several eating establishments offering traditional Mexican food and even a multi-screen sports bar so we could watch the Mens Basketball NCAA championship. It’s obvious they’ve enjoyed spending time here over the years. They’ve got plentiful utensils, appliances, silverware and dinnerware. Unfortunately all the drawers and cupboards are full of stuff. For example I saw a hammer in a drawer with utensils and there’s no place where guests could put groceries except on the countertops.
