They must have to take a personality test because all from the GM to the housekeeping staff are so friendly and accommodating! There is so much to do and the weather was just perfect! The shuttle systems makes it so easy not to have to rent a car. From the warm cookies at 3 pm every day, to the member receptions, to getting spices & condiments needed to cook, ...on and on... I highly recommend going! ”

Wonderful location and always great to be a guest at the RCC! Timing turned out to be not so good with the Highlands mountain closing on the day we arrived. But we made the best of it with Ajax only a 10 min shuttle, and Snowmass a bit longer. ”

On The Highlands mountain (my favorite place to ski) it si ski in/out during winter months. In summer months the place is magical and with use of the Ritz Shuttle a car is really not needed. Beautiful accommodations and friendly staff!

We spent five nights in a three bedroom at the White River Lodge. Very peaceful setting with wonderful mountain views from the living area and balcony. The unit itself was spacious & well appointed with twice daily housekeeping. The concierge was always quick to respond And the staff at the spa was Five Star! We all enjoyed 90 minute massages then Had lunch and relaxed by the pool. Transportation provided through the Ritz was extremely easy. They have a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes or you can also use the local taxi service (tipping only- no fee) We were surprised it was difficult to get an Uber in Aspen so we were thankful For this service. We went hiking to the Maroon Bells, horseback riding at T lazy seven and Bike riding to Woody Creek Tavern. Early June was perfect weather- mid 70s during the day mid 50s at night and not too crowded before all of the festivals. We enjoyed being able to get reservations at some of the best restaurants each evening. Definitely recommend this location & we would love to go back! ”

I took five of my friends to Aspen to the Ritz-Carlton Highlands and enjoyed every moment, it's always nice to go at this time because it's just the close of ski season and its very relaxing. As usual the unit was very beautiful and comfortable, we enjoyed hikes nice walks and dining out in Aspen. The staff was great as always at the Ritz-Carlton.”

Always perfect except this time!

We have stayed at the Ritz Carlton many times and have always given a five star review. This time however, it could have been better. The main pool at Elkhorn Lodge was not available as it was undergoing remodeling. Everyone from both White River and Elkhorn Lodges had to use the much smaller pool at White River. There were not enough towels and lounge chairs. Hot tubs were not available as the hot tub at Elkhorn was closed and the hot tub at White River was not working properly nor was the one in the men's locker room. Usually, service is over the top, but bottled waters were not available on the shuttle, exercise room, and at the outdoor valet stand. We will still want to stay again and again but this time, it was not up to the five star rating it always is.”

Great Ski In Ski out location

We couldn't have asked for more from our experience at the Ritz Aspen. The location in highlands is very convenient for getting to downtown Aspen and Buttermilk. Having access to four different mountains within 20 minutes was great also. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was also well stocked. Having daily housekeeping was a huge pluss. There was also a kids game room that our children really enjoyed and the Ski Valet was amazing. We also made use of the Aspen Rec Center right up the road which has a pool with water slide, rock climbing wall and ice skating. The hotel will provide free daily passes to the rec center. Hotel and town shuttles were easy to navigate. We can't wait to go back!”

Our family had a great ski holiday in a 3 bedroom Condo. The property is fantastic and the staff were great. If you are going to Aspen to ski then I highly recommend this property for intermediate and expert skiers. My only reservation would be if you had kids going to ski school at Buttermilk or Snowmass or people who only want to ski green runs then being at Aspen Highlands is not the most convenient location (but still possible on the buses). Another great Third Home holiday!!”

Wonderful New Year Week at Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands

We had another great stay at Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands. The well-appointed 3 bedroom penthouse unit was perfect for our family with room to spread out, in-unit kitchen and laundry facilities, and house-keeping service daily. The accommodations are condo-type units, but with full resort service. The ski-in and out location is quite convenient including ski butlers in base of mountain ski-lounge, several dining options including room service, and heated pools and spas for end-of day relaxation. The concierge team was responsive and helpful in securing airport transfers, dining, and spa reservations. Aspen Highlands mountain has plenty of long blue ski-snow board runs, and Cloud Nine restaurant on mountain with fabulous views for a not-to-miss meal or apres-ski, and is super convenient to the town of Aspen (7 mins drive) with complimentary shuttle service that runs every 30 minutes. Another enjoyable stay, and highly recommended!”

High Luxury with great service and unbeatable location

The Ritz in Aspen Highlands is a magical place. We arrived with a lot of luggage and groceries. Everything was setup by the bell service in our 3 bedroom suite within 10 minutes. People were greeting me by my name. The concierge had e-mailed me a thew weeks earlier to arrange reservations in the best restaurants in town. The highlands lift, four mountains sports (rental) and the ski valte are all within reach (2 min walk to all). Every afternoon there would be something going on at the lobby usually a wine or whyskey tasting live music entertainment. The spa and pool areas are amazing with heated towels and attentive staff. Overall what you would expect of the ritz brand. ”

Thanksgiving Bliss

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Ritz for Thanksgiving. We had a beautiful condo with the ski hill as our view. The condo was completely equipped to make dinner for 8. Between the cocktail party with music and a fairy that painted the kids faces to the nightly bourbon and the pool and the kids play room and bike riding in the plaza, we were exhausted and it was such a great time with the kids ! The staff was amazing and helpful. Sasa , the manager has a fantastic group of dedicated employees who really care about you.. A+++”

We had a great time staying at the Ritz Carlton Aspen Highlands. There is a different feel right from the beginning....very friendly, courteous and genuine care that we had everything we needed. The staff gave us special information and tips to make our vacation go smoothly--very helpful. The unit is very well appointed. The kitchen had almost everything we needed with a handy list of items they could provide for us additionally (including cooking and baking basics!) There were so many fun activities that added an extra special touch like nightly whiskey and port tastings and a bi=weekly happy hour. Also freshly baked cookies and coffee and fruit every day. The shuttle was great with fun and helpful drivers -- it was easy to get around to all the attractions in town...ski resorts, restaurants, shopping. All the staff from the valets in front, front desk staff and concierge, ski valets were amazing....willing to help with anything we needed. We celebrated a birthday while there and Staz, our concierge, arranged for a special gift of cheesecake and champagne to be delivered to our unit.... a great surprise and so appreciated. a truly wonderful experience all the way around. Everyone was very helpful and went above and beyond. ”

The highlight was the amazing service. Maroon Bells is gorgeous and the hike from there up to Crater Lake is worth the hike. The descriptions is a bit misleading stating King, King, Queen. There was a Queen, Double, and 2 twins pushed together. The pool was warm, Hot tub perfect, all the extras offered were great. ”

From the moment of our arrival, we were treated like family at The Ritz, Aspen Highlands. This is one of our favorite destinations, having been there in all seasons. There is plenty to do in amazing Aspen and surrounding area - ski, hike, shop, visit John Denver's memorial garden (or run into his adorable daughter in town!) The restaurants are incredible and offer full ranges of menus. We especially loved our visit to KOR Design Studio on Cooper Street! The area at the Ritz is just beautiful! Our room looked out over the pool, chairlift, and the small town next to the Ritz, as well as the bar next door, which had amazing food & fabulous sun deck! The Willow Creek Restaurant inside the Ritz is outstanding - what a talented Chef and diverse menu for all palates. The small cafe across from the restaurant is also wonderful, and offers great quick snacks or juices/coffees any time of day. The most important and best comment I can share about the Ritz is their wonderful and amazing staff. We were treated like friends/family throughout our stay - service with a smile goes without saying. And this treatment is from EVERYone there, from housekeeping to valet to waitstaff to gym to their GM, Sasa Jaramaz! I have not experienced this as completely at other of the Ritz Resorts, but the Ritz Aspen Highlands truly exceeds all expectations! We can't wait to go back! ”

This was our second stay at the Ritz, Aspen Highlands, and the reason we returned was.... our first stay was magnificent! From the friendly doorman, to the smiling concierge, to the attentiveness of all the staff, to the beautiful, coziness of the residence, nothing was missing during our stay. It was the first week of ski season so the slopes were essentially empty which made it perfect for us, "senior citizen skiers from the South!" Sasha, the General Manager remember us from our previous stay and once again, always made certain we were cared for and didn't need anything. We dined at the Willow Creek Restaurant on two occasions and even had take-out one evening, the food was fabulous, the service attentive but not rushed, and it is a place not to be missed. Yes, we will return again, maybe in the summer but this was for us, the perfect start to the Christmas season.”

Incredible summer vacation!

The Ritz provided the perfect accommodations for our stay in Aspen this August. The hotel itself is both luxurious and comfortable. Our 3 bedroom residence was so spacious, perfectly clean and immaculately maintained. Our kids loved the warm chocolate chip cookies every day and the pool/hot tub. There are 2 great restaurant options right next door to the residences. We did so much...lots of hiking (Ute Trail/Maroon Bells/Tiehack), stand up paddle boarding, the Aspen coaster, paintball, a sunset jeep tour, the art galleries...and thoroughly enjoyed Aspen's amazing restaurants. Every view in Aspen looks like a fake scenic backdrop. It is beyond gorgeous. The Ritz was the icing on the cake of an amazing family getaway. ”

Fantastic stay in luxury accommodations in a beautiful setting during Covid was a treat. To be able to cook most of our meals in a fully furnished kitchen during Covid times was a real bonus, not to mention the monetary savings in pricey Aspen. The staff was attentive and pleasant which is a likely reflection of the leadership provided by the director of operations, Sasa Jaramaz. Ryan Bickel, director of services, along with the many concierge staff headed by Zoe Unger made our stay memorable. Two pools and hot tubs along with two fitness centers with grwat hiking nearby were the crowning glories to the facility and led us to Seek out and purchase a fractional interest of our own so we will be able to return regularly in the future. While snow skiing is not our thing anymore our kids and grandkids are ecstatic over having the ski in and ski out location at the base of the Thunderbowl run. ”

This was our third visit to the Ritz Carlton apartments in Aspen and there is no doubt that their location and comfort levels remain as good as ever. Staff training slipped from the truly superb to the perfectly acceptable after Marriott took over at the time of our last trip and has now nose dived, with the all important front office/concierge service descending into a form of nonchalant incompetence that was hugely disappointing. ”

We had a great time at the Aspen Ritz. Our room was even larger and better than our first visit. And the staff was incredible, especially Sasha. We really enjoyed the welcome reception and mid week cocktail. But the highlight of our trip was First Tracks with the small group of Ritz guests. As a third home member, we really appreciated being treated as if we were an actual owner. Our trip was cut short by one day in order to head home before flights were cancelled due to virus and I wish we had had a chance to say proper goodbyes to the wonderful team who made our stay so special. We hope to return again. ”

Nothing short of extraordinary does not begin to describe our weeklong stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Aspen Highlands. From the moment we checked in to the our final farewell, first-class personal service was always provided. Our condo was beautifully appointed, impeccably clean as was the entire resort. From an extra comfy bed to bright white fluffy towels, from an extra-large living space to chef-ready kitchen, it was all waiting for us. The concierges were knowledgeable, always helpful and made certain our experience was 100% perfect. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and in the room were daily "surprises" from flowers to candy to hand-written cards and, of course, champagne with two toasted glasses! We enjoyed skiing at Buttermilk, dining at the Willow Creek restaurant on property, and strolling the beautiful streets of Aspen. This was by far, a most memorable trip and I am certain we will return to the Ritz-Carlton, Aspen Highlands.”

Girls getaway doesn't dissapoint!

This was probably our 4th week at the Aspen Ritz and as the name suggests, it was fabulous once again. The staff is probably the best in Colorado and was very accommodating to our every need. Summertime outdoors in the Rockies is hard to beat and the free shuttle is equipped to haul bikes if you prefer to bike downhill to town and take a shuttle back. Even better if you partake in a couple of cocktails al fresco and don't want to bother with the bike. ”

Check it out and meet Tom the owner. They have the best hats, boots and western collectable jewelry of anywhere. For evening dining, highly recommend the outdoor dining at Cache Cache and lunch at the White House. ”

The color change of the Aspen trees while we were there was breathtaking.. Just as last year, the Aspen Ritz-Carlton provides amazing service before, during and after our stay. Anything we needed or wanted was provided and with a smile. Of course, I do not want to forget to mention the daily 3 pm warm cookies! We spent two week in 2017 and HAD to come back in 2018. Timed it with fall. All the golden color on the mountains is so beautiful. ”

Always a magical stay!

This was my fourth stay with THIRDHOME at this beautiful property, but my first winter adventure here. I took five of my girlfriends and we had a beyond spectacular vacation. As always, the concierge and every other member of the Ritz Aspen team knocked it out of the park! The concierge helped us arrange for skis, lessons, reservations and pretty much managed our entire trip for us. The luxury of having the ski-in-ski-out capability right out your back door is fantastic, and the ski and boot valet makes it all effortless. We had a wonderful experience using Ski Butlers for our ski/pole/boot rentals. They will come straight to your room and you get a discount being a THIRDHOME member. The shuttle from this property goes in to town and back on a regular basis, which also made navigating our group's individual needs a piece of cake. The condos are warm, cozy and luxurious with the perfect mountain feel. And don't miss out on the warm chocolate chip cookies they keep behind the front desk:). I already have my next week booked here through THIRDHOME!”

Service doesn’t get better than this.

I am very conflicted while writing this review because I know if I tell the truth I will only create a higher level of demand for a place I absolutely intend to return to - primarily due to the unusually high quality of personal service the team at the Ritz-Carlton consistently provided. It started with the outstandingly proactive Julian, Member Experience Concierge, who reached out to us prior to our arrival by email regarding our interests and arrival details and then called to let us know the residence was available early even though we hadn’t asked for an early arrival, and to inform us about a wine and cheese get together with live music being held that same evening (which is repeated on Wednesdays). Everyone greeted us as if we were old friends they hadn’t seen for a while; our bellman, Steven even offered to unpack our groceries/luggage for us. In particular, Sasa, the Director of Operations sought us out, introduced himself and afterwards always greeted us by name. He checked regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and ask if there was anything we needed. Housekeeping posted a weekly schedule of events on the refrigerator in our unit and brought by a daily event guide with each turn down service to inform us of the schedule for the following day. We felt as if we were visiting a well organized relative who really wanted to make our visit the best ever. Though you are outside the city of Aspen, free transportation is available both from the resort itself as well as the city transportation center just steps from the resort entrance. The resort also provided activities and transportation to beautiful places such as the Maroon Bells. Afterwards, our van driver/events coordinator/tour guide brought us a picture he had taken of us at the Maroon Bells beautifully mounted in a very nice wooden frame. And the quality of service didn’t stop there. At the restaurant, not just the waiters checked with us during the meal but the manager/head chef stopped by the table after each meal to welcome us and make us feel right at home. As a skier, I intend to visit during ski season, both for the high level of service (which, according to Sasa, includes a “first run” once a week), as well the location; adjacent to a major ski lift. I enjoyed myself so much, due primarily to the staff interactions, that I plan not only to return for skiing, but also for multiple weeks in the summer over the coming years. ”

This is one of those properties where they spoil you rotten and you absolutely love every minute of it. The staff was amazing and the service was incredible. It was perfectly designed for guests to ski in, drop off off their equipment and head right up to the room to relax. The Ritz apartments are very spacious and beautifully decorated, and I have to say, they couldn't possibly be cleaner! With twice daily maid service, they really spoil you, and make vacation such a pleasure! But, the concierge team is the BEST - thank you for arranging everything and for all the suggestions, you were great!”

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton was simply wonderful. With three children, the beautiful apartments and amazing staff always make it an incredible vacation. The unit was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen, laundry and expansive views of the Aspen Highlands slopes. The lodge was cozy and staff were always responsive. The Ritz is immediately adjacent to the lift, and the staff did EVERYTHING, including helping us put on and take off boots at the ski-concierge, and there was always staff acting as ski valet to walk our skis out to the lift, or to bring it back into the concierge room... Truly amazing service. But what always takes the vacation over the edge is the kindness and helpfulness of the Ritz concierge team, who go out of their way to make certain we had a comfortable stay, offering suggestions and helping us to schedule our restaurants and activities. Highly recommend, and cannot wait to go back!”

Prime Residence at the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club

Much to our pleasure, our Aspen pied-a-terre for the week was perfectly situated forty yards from the lift. The three-bedroom unit we were offered was the best in the complex, the only one to have a 220-degree wrap-around balcony overseeing the pool area, the ski lift, and the ski village below. Wonderfully appointed. Staff was efficient and very friendly. The skiing was excellent. We loved Aspen. We are eager to return next year.”

Lovely Spacious Apartments with full "hotel" service

This was our second stay. The apartments are exactly as pictured, ski-in/out, there are no hidden costs and the staff / service is exemplary. While on the smallest of the 3 ski areas in Aspen there is quick free and regular transport into town and each f the other hills. Skis are transported between mountains overnight at no cost. "Highlands" itself is short on dining / grocery options - but there are many great options in town. Aspen is however not cheap. - We will be back.”

Perfect Vacation - Intimate Lodge with Great Staff!

The staff is fantastic! We were at the smaller of the two lodges whcih was perfect as we were kid free and it was never crowded and made an intimate vacation! Alan and Jillian as concierge and Bell staff always were so friendly and went over the top to get grill strated, smore's kits, and even marinade for our steaks! The location is great - 5 minute shuttle to town which is busy ( and I'd imagine the other 5 star hotels don't have as much space and peace and quiet in the downtown) so great to go partway up the mountain towards Maroon Bells. Great hiking and biking trails surrounding the property and the road to Maroon Bells right out the door and bike rentals less than a block away with 20% discounts. I ran and biked the 2.5 miles to town which was great incentive for an outdoor work out! Spacious rooms, bathrooms, open floor plan for shared space and large balcony. Couldn't have been a better stay and sad leaving! Hoping to make this an annual trip!”

This review is for penthouse unit 4301. Amazing home! This unit is in a building separate from the other two Ritz residence buildings in Aspen Highlands. Great view of the ski mountain and lifts from the living room, dining room, kitchen and large deck. Luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. Excellent furnishings. Short walk to the pool and spa. Very quiet since it is not in one of the main buildings. We've stayed in units in the two main buildings before and they were also very nice, but this unit is a gem! Thanks to the owners and we will be on the lookout for this one again!”

One of my best vacations - two weeks were NOT enough!

I stayed in the 3 bedroom for one week before moving on to another unit which was 2 bedrooms for another week. I have never stayed at a Ritz Carlton property. I was blown away by the service. The personal attention given by the concierges - Jillian. JoJo, and others were beyond expectations. The valets service, Levi comes to mind along with others, was personal and efficient. The twice daily maid service put the already great stay over the top. The service around the pool and spa/exercise area is also above expectation. Beyond the fact that the service was so exceptional, it was also personal - the staff knew our names AND they remembered and asked about our activities afterwards. The Ritz is location (in my opinion) is perfect. It is a few miles out of town, it was easy to walk into town on the trails. Aspen was too crowded to stay any closer. The street location was very quite, other roads into and out of Aspen were always busy. There was a "into town" shuttle that was so convenient, we used it most of the time. Even thinking maybe not renting a car next time. There are two different lodges and we stayed at both. The 3 bedroom was located in the white river lodge. This lodge is the one I would recommend - we had a balcony. The pool, hot tub, & lobby were so quite and peaceful. The elkhorn lodge was definitely busier, more kids in the pool. In the 2 bedroom, we did not have a balcony, which I missed very much. The only reason (I do not think it is reason enough) is that the cafe, restaurant, bigger exercise area, bigger pool area are located here. BUT the walk is about one minute. Now about Aspen, it was beautiful and way beyond my expectation. I have been many places in Colorado and feel Aspen is probably the top place. It is just breathtaking in many ways. There are so many activities that are right there, no need to leave (the city or even the Ritz). The hiking, rafting, paddleboarding, gondolas.... - it was all great. Even after two weeks, I did not want to leave.”

The Highlands Destination Club was a perfect family friendly escape just outside the hustle and bustle of Aspen proper. We stayed in the summer and enjoyed the pool and amazing access to the trail network surrounding for both trail running and mountain biking. Our stay was relaxing. We loved having maid service every day and turn down service every night. The pool, hot tub, and workout facility were used and enjoyed by everyone in our party. We loved being able to take the shuttle into Aspen when needed. The service was excellent all the way around. Cookies served at 3:00 PM, martinis at 5:45, and a member's reception upon check-in. These were just some of the parks! Loved it! We all hope to return soon!”

We have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Club several times and it is a great experience. The units are very nice and the staff is excellent. It is important to keep in mind however that there are two different compounds: The Elk Horn Lodge which is the main building with the larger lobby where all of the events happen, nicer pool, more social outdoor hot tub and the larger gym and amazing spa and The White River Lodge which has the same rooms and service but is smaller and does not have an indoor jacuzzi in the spa area nor any restaurant or bar facilities. Although we prefer to stay at the Elk Horn Lodge, we stayed in unit 2207 at White River lodge this time and because it is the only unit in the entire club which has literally ski in/ski out off of the units private deck, it offset the lesser amenities. Enjoy!”

Our 3rd stay and we can't say enough about the gracious and friendly staff at the Ritz Carlton Destination Club Aspen Highlands. We had a wonderful early season skiing trip (Aspen Highlands opened Dec 10th, Ajax and Snowmass typically open around Thanksgiving). It was like staying with extended family. Pre-arrival communication and assistance from Noah Brooks was excellent. Airport pick-up w/ Chris in transportation was smooth. Michael in the ski boot room pampered us the whole stay. Jason Arrington, in club services, was always checking in to make sure we were well taken care of, plus many others in reception, bell stand and housekeeping. The 3-bedroom unit was spacious and in top condition. The twice daily cleaning service was a welcome convenience and did far more than expected. The restaurant in the Elkhorn Lodge is convenient, excellent food, reasonably priced (for Aspen). We particularly appreciate the special attention everyone gave to the 15 month old traveling with us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ””

The Ritz Has Raised The Bar Yet Again!

Beyond awesome. The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands was like a magical winter wonderland. The fun started about six weeks out from our visit. Shannon coordinated our ski passes, restaurant reservations, grocery shopping and other excursions. Her recommendations were spot on (Jimmy's, Le Creperie, snowmobile tour at The Lazy Ranch, and even lunch with a horse-drawn sleigh ride were just a few!) There was six of us total but everything went seamlessly. We were picked up from the airport by the Ritz staff (complimentary) in a nicely appointed SUV. The staff knew our names when we arrived and we were warmly greeted. This continued our entire stay...nobody forgot our names. Formal check in lasted only a few moments. The lobby is beautiful and cozy with a complimentary hot chocolate, hot tea and coffee station. Fresh baked cookies daily at 3:00 were a treat. There is even a little table for kids to sign a guest book, color and enjoy really cute lollipops. We went to the residence where two nice bottles of wine were waiting for us, along with a box of chocolates. The groceries were already put away. We cooked multiple meals and the kitchen had every pot, pan and cooking accessories and appliances necessary. WiFi internet access was available and it was fast. There is a nice game room and we borrowed a few of the games on the nights we stayed in for the evening. Every room was comfortable and the residence was furnished and decorated way above standard. Daily cleaning and turn down service; they even loaded the dishwasher and emptied it! We were not expecting that level of service and it was truly appreciated. Truly five star. Everything about the stay was perfect. I would love to give them more than five stars because the staff and the service they provided was simply incredible. There is always an expectation when you stay at any Ritz, but this team exceeded the service we have received at any other Ritz, and that is remarkable. Every single person was truly a delight and extremely helpful. Sometimes it was like they were reading our minds and they would show up with water, ask if we needed anything further from the store, confirmed the activities/reservations planned for the next day, etc. And this service did not stop at the lobby doors. We were out and about enjoying downtown Aspen, chatting with people and we ended up meeting Sarah, who turned out to be the Ritz Club MEC Supervisor. She was delighted we were 'her' guests. She made sure we were enjoying ourselves and that our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Gave us a few recommendations and then introduced us to the owner of the restaurant where we were having dessert. So very charming. This was worth every key, and then some. I definitely did not want this vacation to end and I want to go back. ”

The valet's called us by name, the concierges helped plan and coordinate our entire trip prior to our arrival....and we were busy every day! We booked a 3 bedroom unit and a 2 bedroom unit for a family vacation. Very nice property with good amenities. Free shuttle to downtown area runs on the half hour. The property is very close to the Maroon Bells Recreation Area making for easy access to the vast array of hiking trails there. They close the road to Maroon Bells during certain busy times and only allow shuttles to the area. If you want to drive there, you need to get up early, or go after 5pm. Will definitely return to the property. If you have the option for a 3 bedroom unit, take it because they have a deck. The 2 bedroom unit did not.”

We had a wonderful week in Aspen Highlands at the Ritz. We stayed in the 3 bedroom residence with 2 other couples. We received the usual Ritz welcome and hospitality. But the real beauty of the trip is the environment. We hiked, biked, went fly fishing, white water rafting and hit Snowmass for their Thursday outdoor concert in the most beautiful mountain setting. Great restaurants and an awesome vibe make this a wonderful summer vacation.”

Fabulous location to ski in & ski out of the Highlands. 5-star service from the concierge to the complimentary shuttle to & from town to the twice a day housekeeping service! We were treated like royalty. The spa service was magnificent too! We had 6 in our party and had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were ultra comfy with ultra soft linens & we loved extra large marble bathrooms...especially loved the deep soaking tub with jets! ”

Aspen Highlands at The Ritz

We really enjoyed our stay, no new snow during our week, but beautiful days with nice temperatures in such a wonderful place, complemented with the Snowmass mountain, the Aspen town, snowmobile rides and more. The unit is very nice and the Ritz Carlton crew were more than amazing, the only reason for not rating 5 stars is that we missed a view, a light and a grill in the balcony. ”

Awesome ski vacation

We already live in a ski town, but wanted to check out Aspen. I don't know how you would top the Ritz-Carlton club at Aspen Highlands. The unit is spacious and well appointed. Large windows overlook the Highlands mountain and lifts, so there's no wondering about lift lines or weather. The staff is excellent, from housekeepers to concierges to drivers who shuttle you to town or the airport. I really appreciated the ski valet keeping my boots warm, and helping me with the boots and skis. There are two excellent restaurants on site, a very nice exercise room, an outdoor hot tub and indoor steam room, and whirlpool room baths to recover from those days skiing. The mountain itself is great for all levels. The bottom half has long, wide green and blue runs for beginner and intermediate skiers, and the top half is mostly black and double black. The only lift lines were for first tracks on powder days. The runs were often empty. We expected to take the shuttle to one of the other Aspen mountains, but never felt the need. ”

Unbealive week at Ritz

We spent a perfect week in this beautiful 3 bedroom condo in/out ski at the Ritz Carlton club in Aspen Highlands. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. The residence was beatifull furnished. The amazing staff organized and carried our skis to the mountain each day and when we returned we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Amazing, amazing, amazig. We definity want to return. Javier & Andy ”

Everything about this Aspen Highlands Ritz-Carlton was fantastic. From the world-class service to ski-in/ski-out access, we couldn't have asked for more in a ski vacation. Although the property is approximately 10 minutes from town, the Ritz provides shuttle service to everywhere you would want to go. This was by far our favorite ski vacation to date and would highly recommend. ”

Gracious & Friendly staff makes for early season skiing fun

I can't say enough about the gracious and friendly staff at the Ritz Carlton Aspen Highlands during a wonderful early season skiing trip. The 3 bedroom unit was spacious and in top condition. The twice daily cleaning service was a welcome convenience and did far more than expected. Only Ajax and Snowmass were open, (Highlands opened December 12th) but the Ritz shuttle service to Aspen and the local free transit system to Snowmass make connections from the Highlands easy. The restaurant in the Elkhorn Lodge is convenient, excellent food, reasonably priced (for Aspen), and the bartender, Danny, is friendly and makes wonder apres ski cocktails. A beautiful and warm property in Aspen-Highlands. The Arts & Craft style well suited to the mountains, comfortable lobby, saltwater pool, spa, large gym, restaurant and ever important shuttle service to Aspen every 30 minutes (much better then trying to park in Aspen). The residence was well done - complete comfort at every turn, including beautiful marble bathtubs in the master suites; large dining area; well equipped black granite kitchen; charming living area with fireplace, leather seating, large television and Bose stereo. Aspen in the Summer

Well it's true what they say, "They come for the winter, but stay because the summers." I had to see it for myself. We had a perfect week with no humidity, sunny days with an average temperature of 75. There is so much to do and the concierge at the Ritz Carlton will help you plan it all. My daughter and I went white water rafting, hiking, paragliding, downhill mountain biking, hiked the Maroon Bells, shopped, dinned at great restaurants and just enjoyed the beautiful property and amenities. The staff is top notch and are willing to cater to any need you may have. We enjoyed being tucked away in the Highlands and having the ability to be in downtown quickly through the shuttle service, biking or walking. We will definitely return! One of the most enjoyable and realizing trips I have ever taken. ”

Beautiful summer at Aspen Highlands!

From the moment we arrived, we could not have felt more welcome. The staff always went out of their way to do something extra to make our time special. Warm chocolate chip cookies awaited us, and we were treated to a wine reception later that evening. There was another wine tasting mid-week. We stayed in a three bedroom lodge which had a gourmet kitchen, great living space and luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. The property has a lovely fitness center, and other classes like yoga are offered several times during the week. We also had complimentary access to the local rec center, the ARC, where there is a skating rink, a pool with a water slide, a climbing wall and many daily classes. We explored the town of Aspen - beautiful, charming, full of great restaurants and galleries. Aspen Highlands is just a few minutes from some of the most spectacular hiking...the Maroon Bells. The town is full of walking and biking paths, and we had a wonderful time exploring many of these. The Ritz really has a beautiful spot here, and all the personnel we encountered were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. It was a wonderful week. Thanks!”

Fantastic spring skiing in February. Despite record low January snowfall the coverage was great at Aspen, Aspen Highlands, and Snowmass. Most runs were open with few bare spots. The Ritz staff was typical to be expected, excellent service, extremely accomodating. We utilized the shuttle service daily to town and Ajax. Ritz truly is the best of the best.”

What a wonderful location and better time of the year to visit Aspen, CO. I had forgotten how wonderful Ritz service was. Not only was the Club at a beautiful spot in a canyon with pool facing a mountain, there was no request they could say "no" to and all"yes's" were done in a professional and friendly manner. The Ritz Carlton is a perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy after a day of hiking, biking, white water rafting or shopping. Saturdays they have a lovely wine and cheese display and the pool is wonderful. Having twice a day maid service is great too. We love staying here and will continue to return.
