A true immersion in silence and nature

The experience on the Isle of Skye was absolutely wonderful. We stayed over the Christmas and New Year period and were able to enjoy the island’s beauty without the crowds, surrounded by fairytale-like landscapes. We were lucky enough to have sunshine, which also allowed us to take a boat trip to admire the local wildlife. The lodge is a fantastic place—welcoming, warm, and equipped with everything you need to feel at home, including a wonderful fireplace. The instructions were extremely detailed, and we were welcomed with bread, jam, and eggs. One morning, when we woke up, we saw a group of deer right outside the house. Absolutely fantastic”

Isle of Skye Magical Treasure

My wife and I took my best friend to Skye for a week in early October. Our lovely cottage was perfect for exploring the island's various majestic sites. The location looking out over the loch was both beautiful and cozy. Our kitchen was well equipped, and I cooked many of our meals there. We shopped about 45 minutes away in Portree and Broadford at the coop. and then added as needed from the small shop 5 minutes drive in Dunvegan. The host offers very detailed directions on how to find the cottage as well as how to use the various showers, stoves, fireplaces, etc. The washer and dryer came in very handy. For the three of us it was perfect.”

The place is a true haven of peace. Waking up every morning to the views of the lake and the silence of the Highlands is a priceless experience. The house is very cozy and comfortable, and it made us feel as if we were in our own home in the middle of nature. If you are looking to disconnect from the world and enjoy tranquility, this is the ideal place. The location next to the lake is unbeatable. It helped us return home completely renewed.”

We spent the first 2 days adapting to the time difference and then realized that we were relaxed and unhurried for the first time in months. Just what we needed! The islands were lovely and the restaurants were outstanding in Skye. I would highly recommend a visit!”
