May 2026Great location
Beautiful home in a great location. I was able to tour a lot of Louise Penny’s inspired locations from North Hatley. The entire region is beautiful to tour. Sherbrooke is very close and has great shopping. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll have a dinner at the nearby Manor which has a 2 star Michelin restaurant. The house is lovely with beautiful furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were so nice that I ordered the same ones when I got home. I spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the late day sun and sunsets. The yard was safe for my little dog. Great holiday. ”

May 2025A lovely spacious retreat
We have returned a number of years to this lovely home in North Hatley. It is a quiet and quaint retreat with lots of space to open and relax the mind and soul. The town is welcoming with resourceful groceries and delicious restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to return!”

June 2024Charming home in an idyllic setting
The North Hatley home is wonderfully decorated and comfortable, with all the perks one would want for cozy stay in a beautiful lakeside community. We enjoyed the thoughtful and very functional set up for relaxation and renewal. The screened outdoor room is amazing and wonderful for meals and informal gatherings. North Hatley is an historic place in so many ways, but it is also calming, restoring and full of opportunities for outdoor activities and sports. Our hosts were always responsive and kind. We also enjoyed visits to cheese makers, vineyards, towns with fun shops, and the stunning countryside. We highly recommend the North Hatley Historic Retreat!”
