Glorious Croatia

If you’re looking for a romantic get-a-way (slightly off the grid) or a fun family trip, or just a great adventure in a semi-remote part of Europe, we cannot recommend the Dinaras Lagoon - 46 Catamaran more highly. It exceeded our expectations and then some. Since there aren’t any ThirdHome reviews to date and members have reached out to us, we wanted to give a thorough recap of our fabulous week. Our crew, led by Maja and Ana, had everything dialed in from sun-up to sun-down. The day began with a gourmet breakfast on the stern, free time to wander whichever quaint town we were docked, followed by a short sail to a swim spot (usually secluded with few boats), followed by a lunch that rivals any 5 star restaurant - we were constantly in awe what Ana could whip up in that galley kitchen! We have to admit it was pretty cool having an “all female / all-star crew”! It never got old pulling into ports or attaching to buoys, under the leadership of our Skipper Maja, with Ana on the lines, of course. Maja is a “FORCE” for sure and drives home the fact that women are the superior sex, lol. After she secured the boat for the evening, she’d organize a variety of activities such as ATV excursions along the coast or tours of private islands, as well as, off the beat and path dinners at exceptional venues, only know by a true local. We had been traveling for three weeks when we arrived with WAY too much luggage. Tip: this is a trip to pack light - bathing suit and cover up all day and casual dinner attire. Quarters are tight, so make sure you like your guests 🙂! Our only complaint of the entire trip was, being Americans, we like to sleep with A/C. The generator was very loud and directly below Maja & Ana’s room - so a few nights, (in my opinion as a post menopausal woman) it was a bit warm. Also, our ship didn’t seem to have the correct adaptor to hook-up to shore power which also meant no A/C. I’m sure this is something if addressed for future guests, can be cured. Unforgettable Week

We had an incredible 7-night trip aboard the Lagoon 46 – Dinaris. Skipper Maja and hostess Ana were fantastic—professional, warm, and attentive. The yacht was comfortable and stylish, and each day brought a new beautiful destination. From delicious meals to smooth sailing, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this unforgettable experience!”

June Trip to Croatia

Had an amazing week on board Lagoon 46. Excellent food service provided by Gloria and leadership by Captain Ivan. Visited some of the most out of the way private coves as well as the the hopping party locations. Great dinner locations and comfortable accommodations onboard Dinaris. A few challenges with the boat which Ivan worked hard to resolve, but highly recommend spending some time in the amazing mainland and islands of Croatia.”
