September 2026Splendid week in Welcoming Waiheke
My family of four had a splendid September week in Sarah’s gorgeous Waiheke home. The house is pristine but so welcoming with wooden floors throughout perfect for sunny days and carpeted bedrooms for cooler nights. We never felt uptight in this home, the vibe was relaxed and hospitable. The house is filled with local art and books and interesting artefacts and cool furniture/antiques. We were spoilt for choice with eating out. Made it to several vineyards and cafes all within easy distance of the house. The location is superb very central to all that Waiheke has to offer. Cherished memories were made at the Man O War restaurant and don’t miss their new Forest Zipline, a fabulous family outing for a special occasion. A full day needed on that side of the island. Grateful thanks to Sarah, a most gracious and welcoming host. ”
