Also, the house is very close to the Zeb Vance birthplace museum/park which is a joy to visit. The Blue Ridge Parkway is sooo close… so, it’s an easy climb up to Mount Mitchell and the breathtaking outlooks along the way. Asheville and the Biltmore Estate are a quick drive in the other direction. As would be expected in a house over 150 years old, some of the bathrooms tend to be a bit tight but adequate. Weaverville with good shopping and dining options is minutes away from this very special expanded farmhouse/cabin.”
