Custom-built in 1997, this stunning two-story home spans approximately 2,300 square feet, featuring five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests, the home is an ideal retreat in any season. Perched above the picturesque East River, it offers breathtaking mountain views from every bedroom, the spacious living area, the deck, and even the hot tub. During the blooming season, the beautifully landscaped yard is filled with natural wildflowers, attracting a variety of birds along the river corridor, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the true beauty of Colorado. After a day of outdoor adventures, the hot tub and deck provide the perfect setting for unwinding with a drink or hot beverage.

This home is conveniently located within walking distance to the local CB South coffee shop, liquor store, restaurants, brewery, and the free shuttle bus stop, just 0.4 miles away. The complimentary Gunnison bus arrives roughly every 30 minutes, offering easy access to the Town of Crested Butte or the ski mountain. Inside, the home is stocked with a variety of board games, puzzles, playing cards, and cornhole for family-friendly fun. The nearby large park in CB South offers tennis, basketball, and soccer/baseball fields, while in winter, it features a skating rink and a groomed Nordic track at the intersection of Shavano and Teocalli Streets.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
The house includes five bedrooms. On the main floor, a luxurious king bedroom features an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, there are two queen bedrooms, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a bunk room with four single beds, all of which are 6 feet long, making them comfortable for adults. Each bedroom comes equipped with a TV/Roku, humidifier, ceiling fan, and large windows that overlook the river, providing a soothing, natural soundscape. All bedrooms also offer closets and luggage racks, except the bunk room, which has four luggage racks. Down comforters, high-thread-count cotton sheets, extra pillows, and blankets are provided, with additional towels available in the linen closet. Upstairs, two full bathrooms feature tubs, showers, and ample towels for guest use.

Kitchen:
The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals a breeze, with all the appliances and cookware you could need. Large kitchen appliances are brand new as of December 2023, and small appliances include an Instant Pot, crockpot, blender, mixer, toaster, kettle, milk frother, bean grinder, and French press. The large kitchen table, located near the cozy gas fireplace, comfortably seats eight people for meals.

Living Room/Dining Area:
With an open floor plan, this home’s living and dining areas are perfect for entertaining. Large windows throughout the space offer stunning views of the mountains and East River. The living room comfortably seats eight to nine people, featuring three swivel leather chairs, a large leather couch, and three ottomans. Throw blankets are available for guests to snuggle up while enjoying the spectacular views or a cozy evening indoors.

Outdoor Spaces:
This home is set in a natural environment, with a front yard featuring lush green grass and landscaping filled with native wildflowers, complete with birdhouses that attract hummingbirds. The expansive deck, one of the home’s highlights, overlooks the East River, Red Lady, Whetstone Mountain, and Mount Crested Butte in the distance. Locally crafted furniture, including a large table, benches, and two rocking chairs, make this deck an inviting space to dine or relax. Adirondack chairs placed in the backyard provide a serene spot to enjoy the river views.

Hot Tub:
The private hot tub overlooking the East River is accessible via the living room. Guests are provided with towels, and detailed instructions for maintaining the hot tub’s cleanliness and heat are posted at the house.

TV Access and Wi-Fi:
The living room features a smart TV, while each bedroom is equipped with Roku sticks. Guests can easily access their streaming accounts, including Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV. Additionally, guests are welcome to log into the home's guest accounts for further convenience.

Laundry Room:
A full-sized washer and dryer are available for guest use, along with a drying rack. Laundry detergent is provided.

Security/Keyless Entry:
For your convenience, this home is equipped with a keyless entry system. A unique code for your stay will be provided one day prior to check-in. The home also features four exterior security cameras: one at the front door, one facing the driveway, and two in the rear facing the river. These cameras are primarily used to monitor the landscaping, hot tub cover, and snowfall.

Outdoor Activities:
Crested Butte South offers quick access to a wide range of outdoor activities. Just off Cement Creek Road, the closest access point to the home, you can enjoy snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and dirt biking trails. During winter, the neighborhood maintains a groomed Nordic track at the intersection of Shavano and Teocalli Streets, offering scenic skiing routes.

Just a short 7-10 minute drive away is the town of Crested Butte, with Mount Crested Butte a few minutes further. The free shuttle, located just 0.4 miles from the home, is a convenient way to explore both destinations. Crested Butte is a haven for mountain biking, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing, while Mount Crested Butte offers skiing for all levels and a thrilling downhill mountain bike park in the summer. For a unique adventure, Fantasy Ranch offers horseback rides near Mount Crested Butte, and stand-up paddleboarding can be enjoyed at Lake Irwin or the Slate River at August Park.

A short 15-20 minute drive brings you to Almont, a fly fishing paradise on the Taylor River. Almont is also the perfect place to experience snowmobiling, ATV tours, white-water rafting, and more.
