**Seasonal Spring Retreats March 31-April 7 for Spring Gathering Retreat; Private Tulip Festival Bloom Retreat April 28 - May 1**

April 28 - May 1:

In late April, the estate offers a rare and breathtaking experience: the Private Tulip Festival Bloom Retreat, a limited 3-night mid-week stay during the peak of the spring flowering season. Each year, between 3,000 and 10,000 tulips burst into bloom across the property, accompanied by daffodils, muscari, hyacinth, pansies, and the cascading blossoms of a weeping cherry tree. From the large deck overlooking the Ashokan Reservoir, guests enjoy an extraordinary sweeping tulip landscape. The blooms surround the grand stone staircase, the fountain, and the pergola, creating an immersive display visible from luxurious outdoor living and dining areas.
Optional private chef services for seasonal luncheons or the entire stay, as well as on-site massages and advanced chiropractic sessions, may be arranged upon request and availability. This intimate experience is perfect for garden and flower enthusiasts seeking to witness a fleeting masterpiece, peak blooms that last only two weeks each year, carefully planted by a dedicated team each fall.

March 31 - April 7:

For the week surrounding Easter, the property becomes an elegant spring gathering place. The Easter at the Estate retreat offers families and friends a serene setting for holiday celebrations. Early daffodils brighten the grounds, while curated arrangements of tulips and flowering bulbs in pots bring freshness and color to outdoor living spaces and interior rooms. Inside, a newly added Grand Room dining table seats up to 14 guests, with an additional table for 6 available—ideal for Easter brunches, dinners, or meaningful family moments. Optional private chef services, massages, and advanced chiropractic work may also be arranged upon request and availability. This week-long celebration (with flexibility for a shorter 5-night stay if preferred) provides a warm, luxurious spring escape designed for togetherness, renewal, and the simple joys of the season.**

Nestled in the foothills of the Catskills, this extraordinary Hudson Valley estate offers an unparalleled vantage point over the shimmering Ashokan Reservoir. This home is rare in scale and grace for this region. Set amid towering pines, lush gardens and dramatic rock outcroppings, the 11,000-square-foot residence was envisioned as both a gathering place for grand entertaining and a sanctuary for intimate family living. The architecture balances soaring scale with human warmth, while every window and terrace frames nature’s grandeur.

The heart of the home is a sequence of spectacular spaces seamlessly flowing into one another beneath 14-foot ceilings. Rich wood finishes, multiple fireplaces, and exquisite architectural details lend these spaces a sense of timeless elegance. The chef’s kitchen, an expansive stainless steel domain designed for large-scale culinary experiences, anchors the main floor, while a cozier kitchen provides space for casual, everyday meals shared with family and friends. There are 2 large living room spaces on the first level as well as a large main hall that can be used for yoga/meditation, entertaining and/or a dining room and living room space. Our focus is an environment that supports a connection to nature and wellness.

Thoughtful design ensures that no corner of the home feels anything less than extraordinary.

Ascending the grand staircase, guests arrive at a skylit atrium that serves as the gateway to three remarkable bedroom suites. The first is a cherry paneled King Bedroom room with fireplace and beautiful views of the water. The cherry shared sanctuary room has 2 full beds facing out to the view and 3 additional twin beds. The second shared sanctuary room has one King converted from 2 twins bed and 3 twin beds. King beds converted from 2 twins are the width of a standard King, and slightly shorter than standard King Beds.

Downstairs 3 king rooms sleep an additional 6 people. The lower king suite room boasts an 18th century Spanish hand painted bedroom set and ensuite marble shower and bathroom. The Mahogany room with King bed and sitting area has a warm and inviting feeling. The full size couch in this room is a sleeper sofa. The Stone room has windows facing into the gardens. A half bath is right outside the door and both the Mahogany and Stone room guests shower in the Healing Suite upstairs.

On the upper level, a Healing Suite with massage tables and chiropractic area is available for optional massage or chiropractic work upon request and availability. Sauna and 2 full bathrooms complete this spa like area.

Outdoors, the grounds are as spectacular as the interiors. Porches, patios, and garden paths beckon at every turn, leading to hidden spaces where nature and architecture converge in harmony. Mature landscaping frames the mountain and reservoir views, ensuring that the estate feels both majestic and deeply private. Whether hosting a glittering evening by firelight, strolling woodland paths at dawn, or simply gazing out at the water from the terrace, this is a property that elevates every moment into something extraordinary. Our gardens are lush with both perennials and annuals that bloom in succession bringing rich color and blooms throughout the season. Create a few bouquets from our cutting garden and bring indoors.

This is a magnificent property where grandeur and intimacy live in perfect balance, set against one of the Hudson Valley’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.

Three 2019 airstreams are available upon request. One is 27', one is 20' and one is 16'. All have bathroom, shower and kitchen. Please see photos and layouts.
