Located in one of the city’s quietest legacy residential neighborhoods, this hacienda-style home offers all the charm of San Miguel without the late-night noise, parties, and fireworks of downtown—a key reason we chose to move here. It’s just 5 minutes to town and 10 minutes to the historic center by taxi or Uber, typically only $3–5 USD, making it incredibly convenient while still feeling like a true escape.

And don’t be fooled by the three-bedroom count—this home spans over 4,000 square feet, with soaring ceilings and generously sized rooms throughout. Every corner feels open, airy, and inviting. You’ll find two spacious bedrooms with king-size beds and fireplaces, a third guest room with a queen-size sofa bed, and a dedicated study perfect for remote work or quiet reading. The theater room, which shares space with the third bedroom, features a massive screen and surround sound, turning movie nights into an immersive cinematic experience.

The kitchen is a true standout, custom-designed for both enthusiastic home cooks and seasoned chefs. It’s stocked with every appliance you could want, including a Vitamix blender, Vertuo Nespresso machine, pizza oven, ice cream maker, food processor, Wolf oven, and more—everything at your fingertips for gourmet meals or simple snacks.

All bedrooms include air conditioning and heating (a rarity in San Miguel!), and the home is equipped with high-speed fiber optic internet—ideal for streaming, remote work, or Zoom calls. Fitness lovers will appreciate the SoulCycle bike for indoor workouts.

For families, there’s a magical kids’ playroom designed for ages 1 to 5, inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. It’s fully stocked with toys, books, and materials that encourage imaginative, open-ended play in a safe and nurturing environment.

Creative spirits will find inspiration in the light-filled artist’s studio/workshop, a peaceful space for painting, crafting, or focused work. Outside, the lush walled garden is your private oasis—featuring mature trees, flowering vines, and a small heated plunge pool perfect for daytime dips or evening relaxation. To complete the experience, a dedicated housekeeper is included five days a week, offering a truly luxury hotel–like feel. She’s happy to assist with laundry and light cooking upon request (her salary is covered—we only ask that you tip her at the end of your stay). With private parking for two vehicles and a Saturday farmers market just a block away, you’ll have everything you need for a restful, enriching, and effortless visit.
