Lovely home with garage in SF

We had a wonderful week in this home in SF. The condo is beautifully furnished, with all the amenities you need--lots of tools in the kitchen, spices and oils for cooking, two well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. They also had a lovely roof deck with 360-degree views of the city. We especially loved the master bedroom, which had a super comfortable king bed with a memory foam mattress and luxe bedding. The neighborhood location is fantastic--I got a pedicure a couple of blocks away, we walked to meals in Chinatown and North Beach with ease (but took an Uber home--Russian Hill is tall!). I also walked to the Ferry Building one day and found that to be an easy trip, and we got some fun meal components to cook at the house. My one heads-up is that this is not a spot for the mobility-impaired. It's a traditional San Francisco condo with a garage on the main floor, a separate condo on the second floor, and this home on the third floor (with roof deck above). The entry to the condo is one long (30 steps), narrow, shallow steps, and winding staircase that goes from the main entrance up to the third floor apartment. It was pretty intimidating the first time, especially carrying our suitcases and groceries. Just beware that that's how you will get in and out! ”

Cozy Nest in Russian Hill

The condo is one of two units on an extremely quiet street in the Russian Hill neighborhood. The garage was a luxury as parking can be a challenge in the city. The decor is cosy California beach, understated and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. The dining area has a comfortable built-in bench seat at the bay window…a relaxing reward for the cook! The bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of free closet space. The showers are terrific, too! Large washer and dryer was convenient and much needed after hiking on Mt. Tam! The rooftop deck is lovely and we would have used it more, if we were sun worshippers. The owners have thought of everything! They were extremely responsive and made us feel like they wanted our stay to be a great experience. And it was! We would stay here again! ”

Absolutely loved this place! The location is fantastic … you can walk to coffee shops, wine bars and restaurants (check out Seven Hills) that are just minutes away. The interior of the home is wonderful and well thought out … amazing attention to details. You definitely need to spend an evening as well on their roof top deck … it’s killer. To top it all off … Erika is a super host! Overall … bravo!”
