Perfect place to retreat and recharge

Morros 922 is a beautiful place to mastermind, and meditate, to retreat and recharge. Arriving in Cartagena we were met by a kind local woman employed by our host, who welcomed us and would help ensure we were comfortable and well fed during our stay, providing guidance with residence amenities and protocols, grocery shopping assistance and delicious traditional meals each day! There is nothing that says love to me like someone putting good food in front of me - a treat for someone always taking care of everyone else. The accomodations were all I was looking for and more: a spacious, comfortable and well-apportioned place to relax and take it easy, on a private and relatively calm beach with swimmable water, near enough to get to activities, without being in the middle of the action. We were so relaxed we did very little exploring – one day in Old Cartagena, and a visit to the Castillo de San Felipe. Otherwise it was swimming, walking on the beach, sitting on the balcony and watching the incredible sunsets… Thank you for the use of your wonderful ThirdHome. We hope to return again some day. ”

Excellent Condo

I agree completely with all of the positive comments about this condo. The view is even better than pictured. Mayo is also amazing as she has a wonderful attitude about every task. The beach is extremely wide, which makes for a very comfortable walk or jog. Ubers/taxis are so cheap and readily available that getting a rental car is definitely not needed. I would gladly stay here again and again. ”

Simply Wonderful

Our time at the Cartagena Escape was truly extraordinary. We were a group of six extended family members traveling together to celebrate a college graduation. Luis was extremely responsive and proactive and all of his communications with us. The place sits on a lovely beach with outstanding 180 def views from the sixth floor balcony, and every comfort you would want. Mayo was simply incredible, doing some shopping with us, cooking us breakfast and dinner, greeting us with a smile at the beginning and end of each day and helping us keep the chaos at bay and the place tidy. Cartagena is a wonderful city, we Uber with ease to and from the Old City, and to other destinations. We enjoyed wonderful walking tours there, boated to the Rosario Islands, relaxed by the pool, took long walks on the beach, and enjoyed the warm hospitality of all of the Colombian people we met. Highly recommend Cartagena in general, and this wonderful property specifically; its helpful and attentive owner, and it’s incredible chef/housekeeper. Bravo!”

Extraordinary 5+ Star Experience

From the initial pre-COVID conversations, booking, canceling, and then rebooking, we had a wonderful customer service experience with the owner, Luis. Ground logistics in/our of the airport were a piece of cake, as were Uber / Taxis in and out of El Centro. In other words, great location. Top service by condo and pool staff. Awesome poolside massage. The most pleasant surprise was the daily meal prep (breakfast and lunch) and maid service by Mayo. What a delightful, happy person. Simply a great property which I recommend without reservation. ”

Relaxing week

We had a fantastic stay at this oceanfront property. The swimmable beach was fun to visit. Views from the balcony are impressive, especially at sunset. We were pleasantly surprised that the place came with a cook and a housekeeper. Mayo made Colombian breakfast and lunch for us every day (her morning arepas are not to miss), and she kept the place very clean. Luis (the host) was very accommodating, and checked on us a few times. Getting to the Old City and other Cartagena sites was super easy. We’d love to go back!”

Nice condo and location

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Colombia. The condo was very nice, clean and right on the beach. While we didn't spend much time on that particular beach it made for a great view. Our only complaint was that the maid that was there constantly had people over. She had her own guests that would have coffee etc. Everyone was very nice but left us a little uncomfortable at times leaving our belongings there because of the visitors. We found it a bit strange. The owner was great as he checked in on us and made sure everything was ok. Overall we had a nice time and this part of Colombia is beautiful!”

Cartagena Sea View

A beautiful property, this Morros condo is very comfortable with a wonderful view of the Caribbean from the terrace. It is an easy cab ride to the delightful centre of the walled city, and Mayo, the cook/cleaner, makes your stay easier as she prepares Colombian recipes. I highly recommend it!”

OCEANFRONT SUPER LOCATION

Myself and 3 buddies were the guest in this super villa. It is everything that is listed and it even comes with a maid and cook! The maid was great and the owner Luis was very helpful with restaurants and ideas and about educating us on the people of columbis. i would reccommend this place to anyone.
