Fall Colors in Truckee/Northstar

Our family had a great fall break visit to Silver Fox - Northstar at Tahoe! We hiked most days and enjoyed eating and shopping in Truckee town. The house itself is beautiful with high ceilings, a great basement for the kids, a spacious back deck with hot tub and the most amazing kitchen to cook our family dinners. We would definitely like to make it back to the area again soon. ”

The perfect ThirdHome escape

This 4 bedroom home was well maintained with all of the necessary supplies. This home is rented out with a property management company on a frequent basis.”

Great stay

Beautiful home fully equipped with everything you need for a wonderful week. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you”

Family time at Silver Fox

My sisters and brothers in law fully enjoyed the fabulous home in a wonderful setting. The home had all the amenities. Lake Tahoe a short hop along with shopping if needed. The pool table and horseshoe pit were fun. Monique who manages the place was available, very pleasant and informative. Could do again. ”

Wonderful home in Northstar!

We had a great time at this beautiful home that made our stay very comfortable and inviting. Thank you for everything! ”

Lovely Tahoe Home

Beautiful kitchen and views. a few things did not work but not a big deal. Strange experience having the property manager use the key to enter, come through the house and onto back porch. We were in the hot tub. She was bribing us batteries for the controllers that didn’t work as well as an extra key since there was only one in the lock box. ”

Absolutely Amazing!

The house was perfect for our two large families. Great downstairs area for the kids. Kitchen was well stocked and everything worked great! The shuttle to the village was prompt and easy to use. Perfect house for accessing Northstar! Thank you for having us. ”

Tahoe

The place was outstanding! I can’t think of anything that would have made it any better! Would highly recommend!!”

Perfect stay

Absolutely perfect stay! Being within Northstar gives you access to wonderful amenities (snow removal, shuttles, gym, easy access to shops, restaurants and the mountain) and the home was beautiful and had everything a family of 6 needed. ”

Love this place .. huge house

Lovely house. 2nd time we have stayed here. This is amazing place. Thank you for putting it into Thirdhome.com”

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our stay at this amazing home! Kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need. Great location, close to the village. Loved the hot tub on the deck! Plenty of space for the seven of us. Would love to stay again!”

Private gym in house ... amazing home!

Private gym in house. This has to be one of the best places that I have stayed. I like that it isn’t someone’s personal vacation home. It appears to be like Old Greenwood cabins with just a handful of owners. ”

Fantastic House

We loved this house! It is just as beautiful as all the pictures show. Everyone had plenty of space yet it has a very cozy feel with the big stone fireplace in the living room where we gathered around the coffee table for games and cards. We played pool, watched movies and enjoyed the clean Jacuzzi each day after skiing. This was a perfect vacation home for our group.”

Fantastic Stay in Northstar

We really enjoyed our stay in this amazing home with friends. It is beautiful, spacious, and well-stocked. It was quieter in the village due to Covid-19, however we were still able to reserve time at the pool and play pickleball. We drove into Reno a few days for work, however it was well worth the drive back each afternoon to enjoy our evenings together here. ”

Amazing Home at Northstar!!!

This is a truly amazing home. Big. Beautiful. Close proximity to everything yet it feels secluded. We loved the hot tub on the deck, and the game room with pool table and cabinets packed with board games. The kitchen is ample and well equipped. The bar off the living room was also well stocked with everything a mixologist would need. We had a really great time and would love to come back. ”

Stellar Home in Northstar

Extraordinary very large home in the woods near the Village at Northstar with access to every seasonal recreational activity. Superb craftsmanship and decoration. Large outdoor deck with hot tub. Great feeling of privacy. Will be coming back again and again.”

Family Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was large enough and had many amenities for our family to have their own space but enjoy time together. Ski shuttle was great, location was perfect and we would definitely return again.”

A+ Forest Villa

Extraordinary home in the forest, quiet but close to the comprehensive activities of the Northstar destination resort. Towering mountain style ceilings, a stellar kitchen, a huge outdoor deckwith spa, twin garages, and in home recreational activities make this a highly desirable Third Home destination.”

Gorgeous property

This property was perfect and large enough to have some family join us for a great trip. Monique @ Tahoe Mountain Lodging made sure that check in was easy and that we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.”

Amazing Home

We had the most adventurous and incredible time at Silver Fox in Tahoe. From rain, to blizzard snow storms and then amazing sunshine, the house was the perfect base for a incredibly fun week. Our host was amazing and could not have asked for a better family holiday! Would love to do it all again in the summer!”
