Luxury and natural beauty

The pictures do not do justice to this stunning house in the middle of farms and right by the Cliffs of Moher. The owner of the house was extremely attentive to us. She provided us with delicious treats and provisioned the kitchen for us. The house in luxurious, but comfortable and welcoming. Four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Everything was perfect. The location is the ideal spot to explore the Atlantic coast of Ireland. The house was close to great restaurants and pubs. We highly recommend visiting Howard’s Way.”

A host's communication and level of engagement throughout has proven to me to be the best indicator of how well our ThirdHome stays turn out to be and the Howard's Way (HW) hosts have by far been the best we have experienced. All communication by this host was timely, thorough and completely assistive from the day we booked our reservation through the day we left (and a follow up by the host thereafter). The HW host was personally there to meet us upon our arrival to welcome us and tour the home, provided us some seasonal welcome gifts (and even a Financial Times for me - HUGE UNREQUESTED BONUS!) The host checked in with us periodically during our stay and when we contacted him as well he responded promptly. HW is a beautiful, modern home that is fully equipped and with en-suite bedrooms which would successfully afford the maximum number of guests allowed with all the ample personal space and privacy they may require. HW is easily reached from Shannon and provides access to Western Ireland from Galway in the north down south to Tipperary in less than two hours; therefore, allowing guests to see much of Western Ireland well within a day's trip. However, you do not need to travel to enjoy the amazing Atlantic Coast and starting with the Cliff's of Moher within walking distance of HW. Everything one could want in terms of services are close-in and accessible in Lahinch and Ennistymon. Visiting HW for a week in the fall had us enjoying a few of the best days I have ever experienced in Ireland while gazing down the Cliffs of Moher so we would not hesitate in recommending HW and this part of the Atlantic Coast beyond just the summer high season. If you do not require a "city-centre" experience in one of the larger Irish cities then we highly recommend HW and the Atlantic Coast.”

Wonderful home and exceptional hospitality!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cathal's lovely family home! The house is warm, inviting, and cozy. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is excellent for cooking homemade meals. The location setting is private and beautiful. We especially loved making fires and sitting in the extra large living room, listening to surround sound music and gazing out at the sea. Cathal is an exceptional host. We had a few minor issues with the heat and bathrooms. Cathal was extremely responsive and attentive making sure we had all we needed. He had fabulous recommendations for local restaurants. He even called ahead to one of the restaurants he had recommended and let them know we were on our honeymoon! They gave us special attention. It was beyond thoughtful. If you want a cozy, serene getaway by the sea surrounded by the beautiful Irish countryside, this is the place! My husband and I love being outdoors and we found some gorgeous hikes in the area.”
