August 2025Wonderful family reunion!
We celebrated my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary at Tethys Mountain Retreat. The place is amazing - incredible views and peaceful spaces that easily accommodated our group. We enjoyed researching the history of the property and learning about this special part of Virginia. Getting up to the house is challenging if you don't have 4-wheel drive. We had a great stay!”

September 2025Wonderful stay
My family and I had a wonderful time at the Thethys property. Gorgeous property, and breathtaking scenery. The owner was very flexible as far as check-in and out times. The amenities are accurate, with plenty of rooms and living space/areas. The trails on the property are not as long as we expected, but the private walk in the nature is the best. The property itself sits on top/side of a mountain so make sure to drive the proper vehicle for the uphill rugged terrain. Will definitely recommend for a quiet and peaceful getaway. ”
