Built in 1937 by Mr. San Diego himself, C. Arnholdt Smith, this property has become a designated historical landmark in the city of San Diego. This four bedroom, five bathroom 5,500 squarefeet home, in the past, has hosted 2 previous U.S. Presidents and many other political figures during its short history. From almost every room in the house, there is a 180 degree views showcasing the skyline of downtown San Diego to the south, Coronado Island, San Diego Harbor, Point Loma and Sea World to the north.

With an enchanting ambiance created with a designer’s touch, the home emulates true luxury at it’s finest. Ornately patterned wallpapers, rich velvets and leathers, and jaw-dropping light fixtures are scattered throughout the home amongst top of the line electronics and appliances.

For those who love to cook, the kitchen is decked out with a 48" Wolf Range, two large Sub Zero refrigerators with pull out freezer drawers, Wolf Steam Oven, two Bosch dishwashers, two warming drawers, built-in Miele Coffee Maker, walk in pantry, and a Sous Vide machine. Just to top it all off, there is also a separate prep kitchen with a range, refrigerator and sink. The possibilities for entertainment are endless!

The bedrooms of the home do not lack any of the luster and design that flows throughout the rest of the home. Guests taking over the master suite for the week will be living like royalty! This house is a paradise for adults and children alike. The property is on over ½ of an acre in the middle of the city. Out back is a large lawn where kids can play soccer, volleyball, and more. Most kids also appreciate the trampoline and tree swings situated in the large backyard.

Regardless of age, all guests will love relaxing in the large heated pool and hot tub. The pool area also houses an outdoor BBQ island, fire pit, and plenty of patio furniture.

For more fun and entertainment, on the bottom level of the house is a large sunken bar, several flat screen TVs, and a bathroom with a sauna.

The house is situated right above Old Town which is within walking distance and is about a 10 to 15 minute drive to every point of interest in San Diego including downtown, Mission and Pacific Beaches, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World and La Jolla.
