Description

Sun Glow

Stretching 2,750 square feet, this three-bedroom, three-bathroom Florida island abode is the perfect combination of classy and charming. Scattered throughout this property are combinations of modern and rustic decor perfectly simulating the creative and architecturally-advanced St. Pete town vibe.

An open-concept floor plan effortlessly connects a spacious front room, side and back living areas into a same-level bay-side retreat. Seamlessly adorned with crisp white and deep sapphire blue toned furniture, exquisite back-bay views, a marvelous Grand Piano and flat screen TVs, each space offers something special to pay attention to. Around the corner, the enormous granite-top kitchen is complete with stainless-steel refrigerator and wine cooler. Can’t stand the heat? Belly up to the incredibly unique peak- a -boo bar on an elegant egg-shell leather bar stool and watch the master at work.

Each bedroom is designed with the same subtle classic and edgy detailing. Soft lilac, sky gray, and rose hued bedrooms aid in the ease of making you feel at home. The master bedroom is especially note worthy with its two antique vanity-dressers, masterfully carved wooden ceiling fan, and His and Hers sinks in the bathroom. If that isn’t enough, floor to ceiling sliding doors offer breathtaking water views and lead directly from the bed into the pool. Imagine spending every morning sipping tea and listening to the lull of the Boca Ciega Bay, located just steps from the back brick-laid veranda and master bedroom. Private dock space, and an outdoor pool are additional treasures when staying at this cove.

St. Pete Beach is known for its uniquely designed buildings, award winning beaches, and the Pier, a five-story shopping and dining complex in the middle of downtown St. Pete. Luckily, this residence is walking-distance from downtown where you can find amazing street art, local farmers markets, and fine wining and dining experiences. The Clearwater area is and has been an ideal place to be, so what are you waiting for?

Nice location and pool

Sun Glow was a great location, close to beaches and many restaurants. The house was comfortable but could use a serious decluttering. All the cabinets in the kitchen were full of the owners food and drawers of vitamins and supplements. The refrigerator was also full of food and ice compresses so there was no place to put anything. This is clearly a first home (which would be fine if things were emptied out). The home was advertised with a dinghy for use and when we arrived we were told it wasn't operable because it had a leak. My husband (we are boaters with over 30 yrs experience) offered to take a look at it and put some air in to find the leak. The boat held air for a couple of days and seemed fine. Rhonda offer to get the key to us (which never happened). We ended up renting a boat, and we were understandably disappointed.”

Nice Beach Home Needs Some Attention to Details

Our first stay in a residential home had major differences from our other experiences with 3rd Home in more resort type units. It had great water features and proximity to the area beaches. However, certain expectations fell short: no DVD player, no toaster, and no dishwasher detergent. The only soaps and shampoo were the owners. There was limited refrigerator space and cluttered cabinets to negotiate. These things led us to conclude this was a bit of a disappointing experience. ”

Could use updating/repairs and decluttering

The owner was lovely and very accommodating. The location was good, about a 15 minute walk to public access to the beach although farther to drive. That said, I feel bad saying this, but house is not a luxury rental of the standard we have become used to with Third Home. TBH, it could use updating/repairs and decluttering to bring it up to Third Home standards. Also, the pool is unheated and was therefore not really usable in winter.”
