January 2026Stop what you're doing and go to Yasawa!!!
Yasawa, the beautiful, westernmost Fijian isle comes into view well before your 30 minute flight touches down, first circling over the diminutive enclave to alert the staff as to the ten-seat single prop's arrival. At 26 miles long, Yasawa boasts five villages (bring school supplies for the kids) but only one, lone resort. At maximum capacity, Yawasa tops out at just 40 guests. During our stay, the busiest day had 70 staff taking care of just 18, who they greeted with "Welcome home, you're family now." Those who have visited Fiji before know that even with all of the jungle beauty, the waves lapping outside your door, the excellent food and exemplary service, what one remembers is the Fijian people. At Yasawa, you'll meet Manasa and Wati, the couple that started it all some 35 years ago, along with a friendly, bare footed staff who will know your names by the time you go to bed. This boutique Fijian sanctuary is, to put it plainly, beyond compare. Most activities are included while some have a small fee. Snorkeling and diving guests remarked that the coral reefs boasted more kinds and colors of coral than they have ever seen. Oh, and be sure to show up for dinner on the last night for your gargantuan seafood feast, caught by local villagers. I simply can't say enough. Go!”

April 2025Stunning Resort & Best Fiji Experience !!!
This was my 6th visit to Fiji, and my first stay at Yasawa Island Resort. By far, this was the best experience ever in Fiji !!! The resort is stunning, the bures roomy, the food amazing (still dreaming about the seafood platters & the lobster & mudcrab scramble on the menu for breakfast !) The resort is luxurious, yet authentically Fijian, and all the staff are so warm & relaxed, Pedro was amazing, the activities on offer were great, and Naomi gave me 7 massages in a row that I will never forget ....I will be back - Thankyou !!”

February 2023Off the grid!
Yawasa resort is a very nice off the grid resort! Huts are nice and large. Clean! As the owner continues to do upgrades it will get even nicer! Not your typical pampered resort but has a nice spa! Food presentation is excellent but quality falls short. Usually over cooked! Steaks are tough and usually hidden by a sauce! Soup’s outstanding! Owner accompanied us when it was listed unavailable. But 15 keys are too high to pay. Maybe 8! All in a a fun place to unwind and spend quality time with spouse and God!”
