February 2022Good but not great
The Villa looks amazing, however we really think it needs some maintenance. All the windows in the living room can’t be open and you can’t enjoy to have a fresh air from outside. The door to get out to the garden, it is broken too and very difficult to open and close every time. The wc of the living room and some of the rooms doesn’t work properly so if you really need to use it… prepare to see and to smell the results. When is raining, the water gets into the living room like if it were a lake so you can’t stay there. And in one of the rooms down, the water gets into the bathroom too. The kitchen need a good disinfection and deep cleaning in general. The Villa looks great and it is great but not to pay an extra fee that they don’t use for cleaning because there is no company to go and cleaning after guests. Domingo and Candelaria clean the house the whole week and we pay them very well for they services. In my opinion, Domingo deserves much more than any one else. ”

December 2020Nice
The house is nice, not luxury. Details such as: kitchen utensils and table ware are poor. The house keepers super nice and very happy to help: Amarilis and Gustavo. There is a girl called Janet who works for the property management that is absolutely impolite.”

January 2021Great Pics - not so much in person
This property shows very well online. The pictures create and illuminate a beautiful space but it greatly lasts luster in person. You can tell that everything has aged from the photo day which I imagine was years ago. There are stains on the carpet and furniture. The sofa and chair covers are dated and the age just haven't been maintained to the standard that the pictures project. The curtains in every room are water stained and the sunroom furniture is just noticeably coming apart. I was completely taken in by what I saw online and completely disappointed when I arrived. It was fine but not as great as it showed. The owners should invest money to elevate it but it really looks like nothing has been done recently. I contacted the property management firm ahead of time to inquire about wifi - turns out it was only accessible in the great room area (upstairs and down) - the 4 lower bedrooms did not have wifi access. This greatly disappointed my guests. I wish this limitation could've been properly shared when I inquired as I learned this was known. In this day and age, this is unacceptable in what is advertised as a luxury home. There was added charge for the week's service. Augustine (the butler) was absolutely the best. We managed the language barrier as best we could. He is very service minded and always gracious and present. There was a housekeeper assigned as well - I can't even tell you the lady's name. She really didn't interact with us as much. No issue - just less visible. I would add a 1/2 star if I could simply because of Augustine. As much as I loved the location, this place have the potential to be absolutely amazing - I would not return because it missed the mark in my opinion.”
