September 2021September in Paris
We went to Paris in September 2021, soon after Europe opened to US visitors. This was not our first trip to Paris, so we were not looking for scheduling too much sightseeing. We loved our stay as we got exactly what we were hoping for: living as Parisians for a week. It was so much fun to eat at local places (all outside seating), shop in local supermarkets, walk everywhere, and get metro passes just like locals. The place was perfect: cozy, very clean, comfortable, and close to everything. The bedroom was very quiet, and the bedding was so great that we had no jet lag on the second day. The hosts were wonderful, and provided a lot of information well in advance. There was also a book in the apartment with rules of the apartment, explanations about appliances, and a list of best places to shop and eat. We enjoyed our stay, and would love to go back to Paris in September.”

December 2019Charming flat near the Eiffel Tower
This apartment is very centrally located so even though there was a transit strike, we were able to get to places easily with Uber. There are restaurants and markets nearby as well as a pharmacy on the corner (we got the flu!). The main rooms are very spacious and the bed is a King (though it says Queen in the listing). There are extra heaters which were useful as this was January. Shower room is a challenge for two people getting ready at the same time, but this seems to be quite common in Paris in general. The WC is separate with a small sink so that helped. Kitchen has all the amenities including a dishwasher and a washing machine that turns into a dryer, also a luxury for Parisian apartments. We were met by a property manager so getting in and figuring out everything was easy. Communication with our host was always quick and responsive. The owner has left a very helpful manual which included recommendations for places to visit, shop and eat. It was wonderful to live like a local in Paris.”

December 2019Fabulous Apartment
We have been to Judy’s fabulous 7th Arrondissement apartment several times in the past and, as usual, it never fails to amaze me . It is perfect in every way. If anything it gets better. The location , of course, is wonderful with magical views of the Eiffel Tower every time you turn a corner. The nearby market is not to be missed and there are tremendous transportation options., as well as walking to many of the most important sites and great restaurants. There is a concierge available and Mimi is very helpful and accommodating. Her English is perfect as well as her French. (She is from the United States). All in all, we cannot wait to return.
