Puerto Vallarta Sweeping Views
Puerto Vallarta Sweeping Views
Situated in one of PV's most exclusive communities, Real Conchas Chinas (there are only 11 homes behind the guarded security gates), Hacienda de los Santos was built to US standards by an American woman in the 1990s. This 5-BR hacienda enjoys spectacular views of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay of Banderas, while only a five-minute drive from PV's best entertainment and restaurants. Now, with a new 2 bedroom 2 bath casita with dipping pool!
It is hacienda style, with all rooms (except casita) open to the interior verandas, where one enjoys the infinity pool and hot tub -- while surveying the spectacular views of PV and the Bay of Banderas. The word "stunning" is over-used in describing scenery. We leave it to you to decide for yourself on this vista.
The house is one of two that are the highest on the mountain, so birds fly by constantly -- at eye level. The home was refurbished by noted architect Gene Fortun in Fall 2011.
Hacienda de los Santos has a full-time staff of two (cook/housekeeper and houseman) who attend to guests' needs Monday-Saturday (extra staff will be needed, at modest cost, when three or more bedrooms are used). The staff can provide meal service for breakfast and lunch (if desired). Dinner and cocktail service may be arranged with the staff (through our manager) at additional cost.
The home is a 5-minute taxi/car ride from Olas Altas, the most active entertainment and restaurant section of PV (as well as its most charming sector). Four bedrooms, all en suite, are in the main house. The attached "casita" comprises its own entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and private veranda.
This house was made for entertaining, you and your family/friends can escape the world entirely here.

Our family of 3 generations stayed at this home over Thanksgiving 2016, we had an amazing time. This is our second trip to Puerto Vallarta, and we LOVE it, The property was stunning, the staff was amazing, the cook prepared delicious food every day. They accommodated for the kids well, always a plus!! A/C in the bedrooms was great for sleeping. The pool was perfect for the kids to stay entertained. Cabs are easy and cheap to get to the back or to town, 5minutes, We really enjoyed Conchas Chinas Beach just down the hill. A big thank you to the wonderful staff.”
We had a great time at the "Hacienda de los Santos". It's beautifully located at the top of a mountain, close to old town, with views that are even better than the pictures suggest. The house exudes a Mexican style, is tastefully decorated , and offers all the modern conveniences that we've come to expect in the US. Every bedroom has its own full bath and all but 1 enjoy spectacular views. What made this stay stand out, however, was the quality of the staff employed by the owner. Rigo and Rosa make a great team, and they made our group feel like we were kings. Everything was taken care of, the quality of Rosa's cooking is second to none, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is managed by a local property manager who did a great job ensuring everything was well organized prior to our arrival. All in all, a great experience - I hope to be back next year.”
