Description

DUN ALUINN

Situated on an elevated site overlooking the town of Aberfeldy and the sweeping River Tay, Dun Aluinn extends over 6500 square feet, with nine bedrooms, and enjoys 5.5 acres of private grounds with an extensive terrace with stunning views down the Tay Valley to Schiehallion.

The house sleeps up to 18 guests in nine sumptuous individually designed bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom - one of which is situated on the ground floor and is fully accessible. Of the nine bedrooms, four are zip & link beds and can be set up as doubles or twins. There are two beautifully designed free-standing baths in two of the bedrooms, one of which is a Japanese Ofuro Teak Bath. The cherry on top, one of the other en-suite bathrooms has a steam room: is there really a better way to decompress after a long day of exploring the breathtaking Scottish Highlands?

For large groups staying at Dun Aluinn, space definitely won't be a problem as there is a large handmade bespoke kitchen with an island, as well as a dining-drawing room and lounge. The tables in both the dining room and drawing room can seat up to 20 people.

Additionally, there is also a Cinema Room as well as a toy room to keep both grown-ups and children happy!

The kitchen has been specially designed around catering for large groups and includes an American fridge freezer (with two additional fridge freezers in the utility room), two dishwashers, and a large gas range stove, which will cook the largest of banquet meals.

Dun Aluinn has an extensive terrace with views over Aberfeldy and the Tay Valley to Schiehallion. These views can also be enjoyed in the wood-fired hot tub, which is situated in a secluded part of the grounds close to the house.

Guests have full exclusive use of Dun Aluinn house and gardens throughout their stay. There is a sweeping driveway up to the house from the gated entrance, and guests can enjoy an easy stroll into Aberfeldy town and all the lovely restaurants, bookshops, and coffee shops.

All catering will be managed by our exclusive catering partner Ballintaggart Farm; there is flexibility to modify the menus and timing of meals throughout the stay according to the guests' wishes.

High-speed wifi with boosters throughout the house, cinema room, and TV snug include full SKY package and Netflix, fully wifi-enabled, Bose surround sound system.

Unlimited supply of firewood for the internal fires, the firepit on the terrace, and the hot tub.

This gorgeous property has been featured in leading UK and EU design and architectural publications such as 'Elle Decoration' in the UK, 'Cote Maison' in France, 'NYarum' in Sweden, 'Residence NL' in the Netherlands, and 'Living,' a high-end Italian publication.

One of the most bedazzling jewels of Perthshire, Dun Aluinn truly is the perfect place to create magical memories with friends and family alike.
