Another Fantastic Stay

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at La Pintadita and we are already working on dates for our third. The list of reasons why we continue to come back is a long one! The home is absolutely gorgeous, and even more so after a recent "facelift" which just added to the already amazing features. The views never get old. The set up and location are the most desirable in Ixtapa and if I was to design a vacation home for the area, this would be it. The long time staff is still providing the top notch service that helped us to fall in love with this property during our first stay several years back. Jonatan and Esther truly make the trip a vacation to come back for, time and time again. Jorge is so very helpful, as we had to change our plans due to the pandemic, and he was so generous with helping us secure dates we were able to work with after having to cancel and change plans on short notice earlier this year. Our entire group looks forward to coming back again and hopefully, to make this trip a regular one. ”

Fishing, Food & Fun

A group of 8 of us made plans to stay at La Pintadita for a week to enjoy sport fishing, find warm weather and sunshine, and enjoy a relaxing week away from work and kids. This home seemed to be the perfect mix of location, amenities and the feature that sealed the deal was the staff. As busy professionals, we all looked forward to having someone to prepare meals for the group, do light cleanup such as dishes after meals, and not having to contact taxi service to shuttle around our large group was definitely the icing on the cake. This home is in a private and secure community overlooking the bay, marina and the beaches of Ixtapa. The views are stunning and never get old. The stargazing at night is a treat and the sunrise and sunsets are worth making the time to watch. When we peppered Jorge with our many questions, he was always responsive and provided us with the information we requested as to help our group decide how best to spend our time and what to expect with his staff. As we were told, Jonathan and Esther are a true asset and made this stay as comfortable and convenient as it could possibly be. Jonathan is the "Jack of all trades", acting as our driver in his 7 passenger van, bartender-concocting the most wonderful fruity drinks, handyman for small maintenance items as needed, and he knows just about every contact in town for the best shopping in the area! He helps to establish a menu with Esther who prepares to most flavorful Mexican dishes you will find anywhere. He will shop with you or you can give him money to do it while you are enjoying other activities. The quality is top notch and he knows exactly where to go and which vendors to buy from. Once we figured out that he prefers structure and guidance rather than us being laid back and just saying "Anything is great", he was off to the races and we never had a single regret. The two of them truly make for the most amazing vacation possible. I cannot say enough about them. We chartered fishing boats of Zihuatanejo Pier about 20 minutes away two of the days and our captain and crew were fantastic. I highly recommend the Duquesa III with Captain Irvin. They filleted our catch and we brought it home for Esther and Jonathan to prepare. Jonathan recommended 3 local beaches to us when we wanted to check out one of them for a half day one of the days. We chose the more laid back beach near the Pearl restaurant and it was the perfect match. Not too crowded or commercial but with all of the facilities we wanted. We also took up the recommendation for Massages at the house. Jonathan made a call and within hours had 4 masseuses at the house ready to give 8 massages. It was a great way to spend an hour! We enjoyed them so much we asked them to come back 3 days later for another round. Overall, everyone enjoyed the stay and asked about coming back again next year. Beautiful stay at La Pintadita

My family stayed at this amazing place over spring break. We absolutely loved the house and didn't feel the need to leave. My boys were in the pool constantly. Esther was the most amazing cook and we ate most meals at the house. Jonathan, our driver, was so helpful buying groceries and driving us to the beach where we swam, surfed and chartered a fishing boat. Mar helped Esther and kept our place clean and tidy. Jorge, the owner, was great to work with arranging our travel. We had a fantastic time!!”

Paradise - Heaven on Earth!

If I could rate this home and staff as 10 stars I would. It was paradise. We were two families with kids ages 12-18 (10 people total) and the house was perfect for our group. The owner Jorge was so nice and helpful and responsive, even letting my husband and sons use his golf clubs. You could never leave the house if you wanted but we were anxious to explore the many wonderful beaches and nearby towns and that is what we did during the day. Having the driver/maid/cook were a luxury. We could all relax and enjoy. The Marina pool club is also an extra bonus, we would go there and order food and swim, tennis etc. We cannot say enough about La Pintadita and we would definitely love to return. Thank you for this most amazing trip!”

(Esther's cooking was delicious and Johnathon could not have been more helpful and accommodating - he even gave us Spanish lessons.) What a Beauty!

Awesome, breathtaking views of this incredible house! It was very hard to leave because the mood and serenity of this place is captivating. My daughter was able to enjoy her H.S. Spring Break because La Pintadita is for relaxation and rejuvenation. With Esther cooking and Jonathan driving, the three of us were definitely spoiled :) We invited friends from home who happen to be in Zihuatanejo at the same time and they were equally stunned by the sheer beauty of this home. The owner kept in constant communication with us to make sure our stay was memorable. I only wish my two older boys could have seen this lovely home with unique architecture and design. It will certainly be a good reason to come back!! ”

Amazing views, wonderful staff, stunning house

We had a great week at this home. This was our 4th exchange. The staff was wonderful, accommodating and friendly. Esther cooked amazing traditional Mexican dishes, and Jonathan was a great tour guide. The view was beautiful, the pool was amazing, the rooftop hot tub was neat. Several Nearby beaches were beautiful. Small note* the 5th bedroom is off the laundry room. ”
