Park City Paradise
When you're not being entertained by our ski and snowboard slopes, it's our town's turn to entertain you. Although we're famous for our skiing and riding, it's far from the total picture.
Our three distinct Park City resorts, the Utah Olympic Park and our Historic Main Street district offers an astonishing array of activities for all ages. There are also more winter activities than you could imagine.
For anyone looking for a different kind of recreation, we've got historic tours and museums, too. At any given time during your stay you can experience major sporting events, screen an indepedent film at the Sundance Film Festival, catch a play or take a gallery stroll on Historic Main Street.
Winter Activity Possibilities in Park City:
Yes, Park City has ski trails for every skill level. But we also have many less expected diversions. Here you can experience a whole range of winter activities from winter fly-fishing trips, hot-air ballooning to snowmobiling to sleigh rides, and snow tubing.
2002 Winter Olympics:
In Park City, the Olympic dream is far more than a memory. Utah Olympic Park is a lot more than just a living, breathing monument to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Here you can attend a fantasy camp for bobsled skeleton, luge, slopestyle and Nordic events, including experiencing five G's of force on The Comet winter bobsled ride. Admission to the park is free.
Even More Winter Activities in Park City:
Need a few more ideas? The Park City Mountain Resort Alpine Coaster is an exciting, elevated track that takes you through more than a kilometer of scenic curves, bends, twists and loops. On a slower pace, enjoy Park City's alpine beauty while exploring some of North America's finest cross-country skiing tracks. Or, for those that would like a little more adventure, get to the freshest powder in comfort and style while heli or snow cat skiing.
