perfect family relaxing holiday

We had the most amazing holiday in this beautiful villa. It is perfect in every way. The hosts were so helpful with all our questions and gave us number for really friendly helpful driver who took us on tours of rum factory, cigar making, to boat trip to paradise island, to mountains to do zip wire and really special waterfall experience. We had activity day and rest days alternating. The villa was perfect for resting. We had chef come to villa and cook one of the best meals I ever had. We went to Cabarete too to enjoy more activity. Enjoyed the golf buggy drive around resort to the beach club, with another class pool and lovely food. Our 17yr old, 15 yr old and 11 yr old boys said it was their best holiday ever! thank you to our host Louisa, and our wonderful housekeeper! from Roisin McHugh London/ Ireland”

Great villa in a very quiet location

We had a really pleasant holiday home experience in Villa Maji. The villa is spacious with good communal areas & large well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms too. We enjoyed all the ample space for our family. There are discreet and friendly house staff. The resort is very quiet and great for long beach walks. The onsite restaurant has great menu options. Approximately 10 minute drive to supermarkets and shops. A short drive away is Caberette which has a lot of options for water sports & shopping & restaurants, we enjoyed the local vibe of this area of the Dominican Republic. ”

Relaxing, Luxurious Retreat

Villa Maji and Sea Horse Ranch was an amazing getaway from the cold of Colorado. We very much enjoyed the trip and the lovely home was perfect for our group of 7 people, two families. The neighborhood is very quiet and well guarded, so we felt safe the entire time we were there. We found plenty of things to do nearby. I Definitely recommend a trip to the 7 waterfalls, the Puerto Plata Cable Car and surfing in Cabarete. My son is on a collegiate track team and needed to cross train during our stay, so the pool was the high point for him. It is cleaned daily and very refreshing after being out during the day. The house is very well cared for! ”

Our stay at Villa Maji, located between Sosua and Cabarete in the Dominican Republic, was nothing short of incredible. It provided the perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation under the Caribbean sun. The gardens surrounding the villa were meticulously maintained by the talented gardener, Ramon. Every corner was adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, creating a picturesque atmosphere. Stepping inside the villa, we were amazed by the spaciousness and elegance of each bedroom. They all felt like master suites, making it difficult for us to choose which one to claim as our own. The architecture and furnishings exuded a wonderful European charm, adding a touch of sophistication to our stay. We were warmly greeted on our first day by the attentive housekeepers, who had prepared fresh squeezed juice and a delightful fruit tray for us. It was a refreshing and thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the exceptional service we experienced throughout our stay. One of the highlights of the surrounding area was the restaurant in Sea Horse Ranch. Not only was the food delicious, but the setting overlooking the turquoise water was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed memorable meals while being mesmerized by the beauty of our surroundings. Villa Maji is an ideal destination for families or multiple couples. The design of the villa, with its indoor-outdoor living concept and large accordion doors, seamlessly blends the tropical environment with the luxurious interior. At first, we had concerns about leaving the doors open, but the secure nature of Sea Horse Ranch quickly alleviated any worries. The gated entrance and friendly guards stationed at every turn ensured our safety and peace of mind. It was fascinating to learn from other residents that some never even had keys to their homes. During our stay, we indulged in various activities offered in the area. A morning horseback ride along the beach provided breathtaking views, and we couldn't resist the allure of pickleball and even took a tennis lesson. The property also boasted a hidden beach, just a short walk away, which was absolutely stunning and pleasantly deserted. The location of Villa Maji couldn't have been more perfect. It was only minutes away from the vibrant towns of Sosua and Cabarete. We discovered an abundance of delicious dining options, excellent grocery stores, and, of course, consistent winds for epic kiteboarding adventures. In conclusion, our experience at Villa Maji was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, we were immersed in luxury, beauty, and tranquility. The exceptional amenities, warm hospitality, and idyllic surroundings made it a perfect haven for relaxation and adventure.
