Great mountain get away

The home is large and it has a great view of the mountain slopes with a stream running through the back yard. We had great excursions to Redfish Lake, Titus Lake and Galena Lodge. Sun Valley Resort is only 10 minutes away and there are great restaurants to choose from. There is a general manager of the property that has fantastic recommendations, as well. We would love to come back!”

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Hemingways. The location couldn’t be better, at the base of Baldy. We went during the summer months and had an incredible experience. The townhouse is spacious, perfectly equipped, and easily accommodated four adults and three children. We can’t wait to return! ”

Great location especially in winter for skiing. Little confusion on check in, but it got handled. The overall property is great, just furniture is lumpy and quite dated. Beds however were great. Daily maid service was a plus, but even after repeated asking, they never locked doors when they left. I would go back, Sun Valley is fantastic! ”

Fun week in Ketchum

We enjoyed our stay at the Hemingways. We brought 2 couples with us who had never been to the area and the home worked out well--we each had our own bedroom & bathroom. We biked, hiked, fished, stargazed, visited natural hot springs, and played pickleball during our visit. The kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook, which we did each evening. We are so appreciative that owners share their weeks on ThirdHome.”

Incredible Location

We had a super stay! Located a stone’s throw from the chairlift and overlooking a beautiful creek one couldn’t ask for a more peaceful ski holiday. The unit is luxuriously appointed and has beautiful Mountain View’s. Recommend having a rental as it is a 10 minute drive from town but the bus route is free and runs every half an hour. ”

This 3 story townhome is one of 8 units, making it feel quite private. Decorated in warm welcoming mountain style with dramatic views of Baldy, the layout is perfect for separation of guests. An elevator within the home makes getting luggage to the 3rd floor bedroom easy. There is a nice pool for laps or cooling off as well as a fitness center. Many delicious restaurants within 2-3 miles - in winter season, there would be more dining options as it is adjacent to the Warm Springs lodge.”

Wonderful Thanksgiving in Idaho

We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving in this wonderful home. We have spent time during the summer here and were happy to visit during another season. We had fun snowshoeing at Galena Lodge. You could hear the snow-making equipment at the resort, but we didn't mind. We always love our stays here!”

So Magical We Reserved Second Week!

Our first week at the Hemingways was so wonderful we booked another week! Waking up to the relaxing sounds of nature versus the city was so magical. Our grandkids enjoyed the game room and the fun toys provided at the gated pool. Outdoor ice skating at the Historical Sun Valley is a MUST as well as riding the gondolas. Summers here are AWESOME! Perfect floor plan for guests of all ages, and the inside elevator is a bonus! Daily housekeeping was appreciated as well as all the staff on site. I guarantee your family will enjoy your stay here too! ”

Perfect Summer Getaway!

Our stay at the Hemingways was wonderful! Perfectly located next to the river and walking distance to healing hot springs. Great floor plan for guests of all ages, and the inside elevator is a bonus! Daily housekeeping was appreciated as well as all the staff on site. For a few days the pool/hot tub were out of order so we walked to the hot springs down river. We rented bikes and even bought one at The Gold Mine (local high end thrift store). It was awesome to be so surrounded by nature and we totally loved our comfortable beds. I guarantee your family will enjoy your stay here too! ”

Perfect week in Sun Valley

Our stay at the Hemingways in Sun Valley was perfect. The residence is spacious and very well appointed. The location is excellent with easy access to Ketchum (great restaurants and shopping) and amazing views of Bald Mountain. Wendy and her team were available if we needed anything and it was great to have the gym and hot tub available on site. We cooked on the grill almost every night and enjoyed sitting by the fire after the long days hiking, fishing and skiing. It was one of the best places we have stayed! Thank you! ”

Fun week at the Hemingways!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Hemingways. The views from the home are incredible! We loved cooking in the wonderful kitchen and BBQing on the deck. It was really nice to have a garage to park in as well as to store our bikes and fishing gear. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, gym, and fishing right out the door. Wendy, Cory, and the ladies that kept the place looking nice were always so helpful and friendly. We would love to stay here again.”

Great family week in Ketchum

We had a party of 10 - 8 adults and 2 children, 8 and 4. This property was perfect. Every family had their own bedroom and bathroom and with 3 levels there was lots of privacy. We had a few issues in the unit but they were addressed quickly. The bus into town was a block away and we took it nearly every day. So many things to do in Ketchum, Hailey and Sun Valley. Beautiful to sit on the balcony and watch the Big Wood River. ”

Can't get much closer to heaven on skis.

Loved the Hemingways. The Hosts were kind and very professional. I go back again but I can't afford the number of keys they require during ski season. If anything changes as in 4-6 keys then count me in. Best wishes.”

Superb stay in Sun Valley

We love to ski. Sun Valley was a wonderful place and The Hemingways made it that much better. There were 7 of us who stayed in the condo and we had plenty of room! The elevator was a nice touch as well as the daily housekeeping. The kitchen was extremely large with everything you might need. The views from the master bedroom were wonderful. I loved waking up and watching the lifts (and just a couple minute walk to the lifts when I went to ski). Very wonderful place!”

Superb Home - Great Amenities

Very luxurious home with superb view of the ski slope and a beautiful river 20 yards from the patio. Even though we didn't use it, the pool is very nice -- too busy fly fishing the river and enjoying Sun Valley in August. The staff in the complex were always asking if we needed anything and if they could do anything for us. A lovely stay -- as a skier, I would love to return in the winter -- 50 yards to the chair lift!”

Fantastic property

Everything was great for our summer stay at this beautiful property in the Warm Springs area of Sun Valley. The simple maid service daily was sufficient, the property was as described and pictured, and the amenities were great for our kids to use. High end finishes, roomy garage for storing our bikes, etc.. Only (minor) complaint, was the pull-out garbage in kitchen is loose, not fixed. That was the only thing I noticed, that was it. Thank you-”
