Description

Discover the dreamy quintessential city of Florence, Italy, with its extraordinary history infused with Renaissance masterpieces of art and architecture. Marvel at its most iconic sight, the Duomo Cathedral, with its world-famous terracotta-tiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi, along with its delightful Bell Tower by Giotto that should be admired at the top - climb up for the most memorable views of Florence's city below and the picturesque rolling hills that surround the city. For the perfect art themed day, stroll through the magnificent Galleria dell'Accademia which showcases the exquisitely sculpted "David" statue by Michelangelo, and continue onward to the equally enlightening Uffizi Gallery with its exhibits that include Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus", and impressive works by Leonardo da Vinci's such as his "Annuniciation". Be moved by other masterpieces each titled "The Last Supper", as there are seven total frescoes within the confines of the ancient city center alone - one of the divine fresco painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Domenico Ghirlandaio is located in the refectory of the Convent of Ornissanti; while another is at the refectory of Santa Croce with its awe-inspiring threshold that transports you into a brilliantly colored myriad of painted religious figures depicting six different scenes in religious history. Spend an enchanting afternoon in any of the magical gardens of Florence such as the Bardini Gardens and be immersed into their tranquil flowering ambiances in the middle of the city - sit a while to sip a cappuccino or eat a gelato; explore the beautiful residential villas and Florentine palaces, and end at the Ponte Vecchio Bridge for the perfect photo opportunity at sunset. Take in Tuscany's most important Gothic Church, the Santa Maria Novella, which houses an extensive collection of artistic treasures; and experience the most beautiful of Italian residences, the Medici Villa with its splendid garden of many statues, fountains and floral delights.

With stunning views of the Duomo and an incomparable location just in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore, guests will be immersed into a charming prestigious apartment. This amazing property is located on the fourth floor of a classic building which also includes an elevator. Guests will enter through a long, elegant entryway that leads to a large Living Room with an LED TV and comfortable seating provided by a large sofa with chaise and beautiful chairs, all perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the spectacular views outside. Enjoy reading and relaxing, sipping wine, and taking in the marvelous ambiance. The open Dining area features a classic, Tuscan-style table next to the fully equipped, modern Kitchen that also offers a washer and dryer for laundry convenience. In the mornings enjoy incredible sunrises with your cappuccinos or toast to the sunsets in the evenings to enjoy magnetic views of the Duomo and the Tuscan landscape. Guests of the apartment have access to the rooftop terrace which is a shared common area, however, the apartment owns a section of the rooftop and provides guests with a small couch lounge area and mini-refrigerator. Please note that access to the rooftop terrace from the apartment requires walking up two flights of stairs.

Although the apartment's living room and kitchen areas are not air-conditioned which can make the apartment very warm in the summer month of August, the bedrooms do have air conditioning - see below sleeping details). Also, the large windows throughout the apartment can be opened to allow fresh air and breezes to flow throughout the space.

Slumber in delightful bedrooms that can easily accommodate up to six people that includes a Master Bedroom with its Queen-size bed and wall-mounted flat-screen TV; or choose the second Guest Bedroom that features a very comfortable Queen-sized sofa bed. Both bedrooms share one Master Bathroom featuring high-end luxurious fixtures and a waterfall shower-head (in addition, the apartment also offers a half-bath). For additional guest sleeping accommodations, there is a pull-out Queen sofa sleeper bed in the living room. A wonderful feature that both private bedrooms offer is they each have individual air conditioning units for personal temperature needs.

Come and enjoy la vita dolce in Florence!

Location, Location , Location!

We arrived from Rome on the train and the apartment was an easy walk from the station. Easy check in with the property manager in person. If you want to be in the center of Firenze- this is it!! The apartment was very chic, and clean! The mini splits worked well in the heat of the summer. The elevator was great! I literally had to pinch myself when we woke up the first morning to the sound of the church bells from the Dumo ringing. I flung open the windows and was able to lean out and see all the action in the square. - An extra bonus was the rooftop private terrace where we drank wine and champagne while watching the sunsets. All the attractions, shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. If you go, you must make reservations at La Giostra in advance at least 1 month. This is the best restaurant in all of Florence! The location also made it easy to walk to the train station at 7:30 AM take a train in into Venice and we were there by 9:30 AM and we were back to Florence by 7:30 pm - Maggie and Kenny ”

Florence apartment

The apartment was very spacious, well appointed, and clean. It is just steps from Il Duomo, so there is hustle and bustle around the building all the time. There are cafes right outside the front door. We felt very safe in the building and enjoyed the outdoor terrace that was provided. ”

Fabulous Firenze Flat!

My wife I had the very fortunate opportunity to stay in this beautiful Apartment at the end of January! We had such a great time in Florence during this "off season" period, and the terrific location literally steps from the Il Duomo made things so much easier than our experience in the past. Our Hosts agent David was terrific in welcoming us and walking us through the details of this well appointed and beautifully decorated home. The roof top terrace was a huge surprise and had the weather been a bit warmer we would have loved spending more time enjoying the fantastic view over a glass of vino. We hope that we will have the opportunity to return in the next year or so...highly recommend! ”
