March 2026Wow wow wow!
This home is extraordinary in every way. Honestly, you could come to Durango and spend your entire vacation enjoying the house and backyard without ever feeling the need to go into town. We visited during a season with virtually no snow, so skiing wasn't an option, but we truly didn't miss it. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated, making it feel both luxurious and incredibly comfortable. The hosts were wonderful—so kind and responsive whenever we had a question (like when we couldn't figure out how to turn on the stove...ha!). Their attention to detail was exceptional. They left a guidebook filled with recommendations for grocery stores, restaurants, and local activities, making everything so easy. We ended up spending most of our time at the house, and it became one of our favorite family vacations. We played games, soaked in the hot tub, and spent evenings on the deck watching the stars, holding hands, and simply enjoying being together. Those are memories I'll cherish forever. This home gave our family the gift of slowing down and reconnecting, and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.”

February 2025INCREDIBLE HOME and STAY in Durango!
I can't say enough amazing things about this wonderful home and Chris's great hospitality. After the stay, Chris asked for feedback and I told him I wouldn't change a thing about the property and I truly mean it. It's simply a stunning home and piece of land and takes full advantage of the incredible panoramic views of the mountains and cliffs around the home. Inside, every modern amenity awaits and the kitchen makes it easy to make incredible meals for the group with every bell and whistle you can think of. There's also an elevator, which made it very convenient for bringing in luggage and groceries, etc. The Sonos system is the best I've seen, with the entire home looped in, including every common area and bedroom. The decor and art throughout is great as well. Location-wise, the home is just a quick 5 mins to Purgatory, so perfect for skiing. It's also just an hour to Silverton and a little over 2 hours to Telluride, as well as 90 minutes or so from Wolf Creek. So, very realistic to get multiple mountains in for ski or summer. Durango Hot Springs are just about 20 minutes away, so great for post hike or ski recovery and The Glacier Club was a favorite to dine at, just about 5 minutes away as well. This is a property we'd love to return to anytime.”

February 2024Ski vacation
Beautiful home. The elevator was nice to have for lugging big bags up to the different floors. Surround sound, beautiful kitchen, stunning views. Great location a few minutes from the slopes and the hot springs were a lovely surprise and a nice break from our daily ski runs. Highly recommend this fantastic oasis!”
