April 2026Excellent Stay!
Deb’s home was extremely comfortable and well situated for our stay. Plenty of kitchen accommodations, comfortable beds, and rooms with bathrooms!! At first I was concerned about being on the East side, but I would definitely do it again. The drive to Zion Visitor Center is 45 minutes and has stunning views . We went into the park three times, but also went to Kanab, Orderville and Bryce on the East side. Also loved having the Ponderosa Ranch available for the dining hall (reasonably priced) and access to East Zion Adventures. If we had traveled with young kids, the amenities of the pool, etc., would have been an incredible addition for them. A couple adventures off of our itinerary: -Rented E bikes for eight hours and traveled the park for about 6 1/2 hours. Great way to see the park without being dependent on the bus system and away from the crowds. -Drove to observation point on the east side of Zion, parked before the tunnel. That afternoon went on a two hour tour to Crimson and Eckhardt slot Canyon out of Orderville through East Zion Adventures. -Spent the entire day traveling to Bryce National Park. Took the park road all the way to the end to Rainbow Point, which is the highest point in the park, and then on the way back, stopped in each overlook on the right side of the road. It was amazing that each stop could be so different and beautiful. The hoodoos were gorgeous. We hiked the Navajo /garden loop trail which was about 3 miles round trip. Stopped for short hike on way back at Belly of the Dragon. -We hiked the Narrows -almost 6 hours, 9.4 miles up and back. Get the early bus. It’s worth it! -Dinner at Zion Mountain Ranch. Ate Bison! Then went on a Bison Sunset ride out to the herd. -Drove to Kanab. Stopped at Sand Caves. Cool hike up to the caves! Lots to do in the area surrounding this cabin!! There is so much more , but we did not get to all of it Thank you Deb for being such a great hostess!!! ”

July 2025Awesome base to explore the Big 5 Utah National Parks
This was a great home for exploring the Parks of Utah. We got in Capital Reef NP, Grand Staircase N monument with scenic Highway 12, Zions NP, Bryce Canyon NP and the North Rim of Grand Canyon NP. We got our New York Grandchildren to all these and luckily got them to the North Rim lodge for the last sunset before it burned down in a forest fire. Devastating to one of my favorite places. The Homeowners were great to work with and everything we needed was in the home. I would highly reccommend this location. The Zion Pondarosa ammenties were also a great addition to our stay.”
