Great old home!
Wonderful stay in a lovely home in a great part of Denver. Hope to return!”
Needs some work, but the location is great
I agree with everything the previous reviewer said about this property. The sad thing is that none of the concerns have been addressed. I also think the write up for the property should mention that 8th Street, which the property fronts, has very heavy traffic. That may not bother some people, we may be overly sensitive because we live in the country. Triple glazing the windows would cut down on the traffic noise. The pro's for this property is the location. We loved the proximity to the Botanical Gardens, (not to be missed) the Aquarium, the Zoo, and all Cherry Creek has to offer.”
Not what was expected
Pro: Lovely neighborhood, good communication before hand on how to get in and house rules. Asked for permission for one small dog and that was approved. Cons: The detailed instructions mentioned two lock boxes and garaged door openers. There was only one lock box and no openers. The BBQ was filthy and totally out of propane so to use it a full cleaning was required and refill the tank. Cooking utensils were scarce and the ones that were there were scorched, ended up buying some to use. Many light bulbs were out making some rooms very dark. One of the fire alarms went off in the middle of the night and needed a replacement battery which was very hard to find. Overall it could be a nice place but the maintenance is definitely lacking. I would think twice about exchanging this for anything until they clean up their act.”
