Set within the grounds of the prestigious Ballinacurra House, the Stone Cottage is one of two Estate Cottages. It is a separate 1,800 square foot home with 4 bedrooms/4.5 bathrooms and a private outdoor garden and dining area. Built c. 1700, it was the original Gardener’s cottage. It has a rustic feel but has been modernised for today’s living with flat screen TVs, power showers and WiFi.

It is set within a walled garden with 10 foot high stone walls and 40 acres of woodland - and access to fields, boat jetty, kayaks and walks in our forest – while having the premier tourist town, Kinsale, only 5 minutes’ drive away.

Kinsale is Ireland’s premier tourist towns and only 20 minutes from Ireland’s second city Cork. There is a wealth of activities available in and around Kinsale. These range from golf, horseriding, tours, cycling, hiking and a wide variety of water based activities both on rivers and sea including fishing, sailing, kayaking and so on.

Within a 45 minute drive of Ballinacurra House, there are 5 golf courses which would suit all levels of players from novice to professional. The most famous and a must-play is The Old Head Golf Course which is only 20 minutes away and is one of the most notable world-class facilities in the world.
